Driving through we looked for a restaurant that was quick off the highway. Called ahead and ordered Gyros to go. We stopped to pick them up and decided to eat there instead. Gyros would have been messy in the vehicle. We made the right decision!
Amanda was our server and extremely accommodating when we said we wanted to change our order to eat inside. They only had the soup prepared so it wasn’t a problem at all.
Our meal came with the Gyro on Pita with a potato and other side. It was a lot of food for the cost. We asked for the pita to be grilled crispy and it was done the most perfect we’ve ever had. The gyro meat was cut in smaller pieces instead of long slices but it made the food much easier to eat.
We each at cream of potato soup. We had fruit and onion rings as a side. It was a large portion of onion rings. This place is worth the stop!
We didn’t have the buffet but took pics of it. The salad bar looked great too. Next time!!
The staff were all so friendly. You won’t be disappointed stopping here. The prices are extremely reasonable. Portions huge.

I ordered the Beef tips & noodles and it came with soup and the salad bar which also had a dessert!! Everything was very good and plentiful My husband ordered the broiled cod, baked potatoes, green beans and also came with soup and salad bar which also had dessert! Everything was delicious!! Good size portions and great service!

Very good salad bar, had shrimp, bacon bits. cheese, othe fresh veggies and several other salads. Soup came with it as well as a nice selection of deserts. this was an all you can eat opportunity. Wait staff was diligent. Sort of an old fashioned family restaurant, you can’t go wrong.

We had planned to go to one of the local bars and have a burger, but they all were closed. We ended up at Woody’s family restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. All of the dinner entrées were fairly priced, and there was a nice salad bar that included dessert even! I accidentally dropped the dressing ladle on the floor and made quite a mess. All of the staff were extremely gracious and told me not to worry about it. I was very impressed with how kind they were and how comfortable everyone made us feel given that we are not from the local area. We definitely will stop back next time We are here!

We just had another FANTASTIC Chicken Dinner from Woody’s. We called ahead for our order and it was ready when we got there. It was still piping hot when we got home, and absolutely delicious ! While I was being discharged from OSF in Peoria, I told several nurses we were heading to Woody’s for their famous Fried Chicken Dinner. 4 out of the 5 nurses I told had never been to Woody’s in El Paso. The one nurse who has eaten there said, “That’s the best fried chicken you’ll ever get, ANYWHERE.” The others said they’re going stop at Woody’s the next time they eat out. I know they’ll love Woody’s too ! The restaurant itself is cozy, clean and spacious. The staff has always been super friendly, very professional and attentive. When we have eaten “in” we also had the salad bar, which has always been extraordinary. Their vegetable soup is obviously homemade and it’s the best I’ve ever had anywhere ! We’re looking forward to stopping there again ! I can honestly HIGHLY RECOMMEND eating at Woody’s if you want an extraordinary meal, great service and nice atmosphere. Additionaly, their menu is extensive and their homemade desserts are fantastic !

Not much to look at from the outside
Once inside, they have a great variety of food to choose from and desserts. The food was well prepared and server was fairly proactive in taking care of our table for 3.
Plenty of space inside restaurant and very clean. Took a look at buffet and looked delicious.
Chicken parmesan and spaghetti was delicious.
