I went to Polcari’s to get pizza, it was delicious as usual, but while waiting for the pizza to cook I sat at the bar and had the most delicious cocktail! It was strawberry with vodka and prosecco, I can’t remember the name but it was delicious! So delicious I couldn’t tell there was vodka in it. You gotta try it! If I wasn’t driving I would have had like 5 more… The bartender and rest of the staff were very nice. I am definitely going back.

Food is the closest thing to how food tasted when my family cooked. Service was decent. Though, a party upstairs made things initially a bit slower than I expected.
appetizers: we ordered arincini (fried risotto balls, flavored with a small amount of meat and peas). These were excellent. crust was perfectly crisp, and inside filled with perfectly cooked risotto. The house salad is good. iceberg and spinach leaves, red onion, black olives, shredded carrots, peproncini, croutons, and dressing.
My wife ordered the Sicilian salmon, crisp outside, over roasted potato’s and topped with feta and red peppers. I had the sausage cavatappi in a cream sauce. This meal was done so perfectly! pasta , sausage, spices all perfect ratios. I was a happy doobie after this meal. I highly recommend this dish.

Buby Dragon
Decided to try Polcaris with my husband and daughter. We started with the garlic bread with cheese. Small portion but taste was good.
My daughter got the penne and broccoli with a garlic sauce. It was heavy on the garlic but still good flavor. I got rigatoni bolognese. It was a bit watery for me but my husband really liked it.
We also ordered a chicken Parmesan pizza. Waitress mistakenly put in a cheese pizza. When it was brought out, we just mentioned it was supposed to be a chicken parm pizza. She immediately took it and put in for the chicken parm pizza. The manager came over right away, apologized and then comped the pizza and gave us the cheese pizza at no charge as well. He went over and above what was expected. The waitress also apologized a few times for her error. We took the chicken pizza home so can’t comment on the taste but it definitely looked delicious.
This restaurant deserves recognition for their customer service and willingness to please customers.
5 stars for service!! 3 for food. We will definitely return and recommend.

I literally just ate here for first time in a lot of years and I stopped in and it hasn’t changed a bit,Food is amazing,Service is hands down awesome,prices were perfect,and my waitress Corie?? On her game is an understatement she was there to check almost like she heard me thinking absolutely an amazing hard working lady,All the other staff were friendly and asked how everything was it feels homey… keep up the good work Polcaris..I will bring friends next time for sure…

Not what it used to be. Bolognese tastes like something I could make better at home. No offer of fresh cheese on top. No simple bread and butter at an Italian restaurant? Large portion but I’d rather have less made better. Lots of places better than this, unfortunately. Wish I’d chosen someplace else. Bar scene is blah.

Visiting for the weekend and we wanted to eat out somewhere close to our hotel and somewhere that had good pasta options. The menu was long, our waiter was nice, and the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. We did notice most people ordered just a pizza which could have been a sign but we already had that the night before and wanted pasta. Sadly we only took a few bites and left after paying. The chicken was bland, sauce watery or not enough sauce, even our salad lacked flavor. We ordered 4 things and it came to $83.
