Great experience. Went with a large group and they were very accommodating. Great selection of Bourbon and Whiskey. Ordered a drink that was recently out, and the manager went over and above to personally get us a replacement that was far superior without charging us for the upgrade. She clearly wants this to be a high standard establishment. Food was excellent for everyone. Will be back again.

The food was awesome. They only serve breakfast on the weekends, but it was great. I had the “Bacon & Eggs”. The bacon was a ½ pound slab. I’ve never had bacon that thick before, and I loved it. It seemed as if the smked and cooked a giat slab firt then cut off your portion when you order.
The service was very friendly and I enjoyed chating with them.

Great food and great service. Pretty standard tavern atmosphere with very friendly and quick service. Food was at reasonable pricing and were well worth what I paid for them. Loved the chicken sandwich and fries. Good selection of mocktails were delicious. Chocolate milk I wouldn’t recommend, but that was on me. Pretty quiet during the midweek lunch hour with some tvs on for background noise. Was recommended to come here and will continue that chain. This is a very good spot to eat!

Stopped for a quick bite. Busy as was family weekend at Gustavus. Arrived just before noon & were told about a 30 min wait. About 5 minutes later we were offered spots at the bar, which we happily accepted.
The bartender was great, keeping busy, watching tables & bar, refilling the mimosas, sorry I don’t remember her name, something short (5 letters like Roxie). Give her a raise so you don’t lose her!
They offer bottomless mimosas & a loaded Bloody Mary, with beef stick, cheese, cold cuts, pickle, olive, pepper, lime, lemon, & celery. It was yummy!
Two of us had lunch & the other two had breakfast. All enjoyed their meals & 3 brought home leftovers (the 4th plays football & is a hearty eater). Total was barely over $100 with a 20% tip.
We would definitely stop again with hopes of sitting on the patio.

We tried the non-alcoholic beverages – Blueberry Lavender Lemon Drop and the Strawberry Refresher – both were delicious. We also had the smoked chicken queso dip (I didn’t snap a pic) – fabulous! I had the Beef and Cheddar (prime rib sandwich) which was amazing. The fries are great and the homemade ranch dip put them over the top. Superb meal. The only drawback to the meal was the volume of the music – it was just a bit too loud for easy conversation. We came at 4:30pm which was perfect because the place filled up fast for the supper crowd.

I had the 3rd st. Double Bacon Burger. The burger was very greasy. Bottom bun was absolute mush. I had to cut the burger up and eat with a fork. Top part of the bun was overly dry. Very thick cut bacon was cooked but not crispy at all. I like crisp external layer on my bacon. Fries were extremely greasy but had a good flavor. If you like an extremely greasy burger and fries, then this place is for you. Service was good. Bar table was a little too loud for me.

Friendly staff and a bit swanky ambiance, particularly for St. Peter standards. Prices are on the high end of what you’d expect for restaurants in the area and rival prices for places in the Twin Cities. Brisket was excellent and smoked perfectly, although the cuts of meat were a bit fatty.

The best fried pickles I’ve had. It’s a spear wrapped like an eggroll, and it’s an awesome twist on a basic app! Chicken Caesar wrap was super dry and bland. Bacon cheeseburger was good. Hand cut fries were good. Wings are very smoked, had I known I would’ve gotten something else; tasted like I liked a smoker not a fan. They were plump though and would’ve been bomb (unsmoked IMO). But you must try the fried pickles!!!

Food and atmosphere amazing!! Loved the wings and fish and chips. Was just disappointed to wait 35 minutes between our drinks to get our meals and around another 35 to get our check after we finished. The server didn’t seem to notice and someone else kept coming to the table to help me settle the bill.My partner had to leave for home to take our dogs out because it was taking so long while I waited for someone to assist us. Besides that though the food when it came was phenomenal.
