Authentic Rome cuisine. We tried appetizers and main course plus a wonderful lemon gelato cake. Jazz band was wonderful. Sax player came to our table and played happy birthday to our friend. Our waiter,Jordan, was excellent. Helpful explaining menu items and making suggestions. Great place for family or intimate dining

My friends and family walked in with the three of us and three kids. The man barely greeted us at the door and asked do we have a reservation. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant at this time and we simply replied no, and they turned us away.
We later called the restaurant just to see if they accept reservations or walk-in and the person told us come on in, we accept walk-ins.
That’s all I will say…without assuming or accusing why the man did that but It seemed a bit strange and didn’t feel great. .

My Italian friends raved about this restaurant, and I’m so glad I checked it out! They stay open late on weekends, and they have live music and dancing! The band usually starts playing around 9 pm (I think).
The owner is super friendly and makes you feel like family. The servers are always on top of things and super attentive.
I got an Italian pizza pie (no red sauce) with pasta, and both were incredible! The pizza was piping hot and freshly baked.
If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Jacksonville, this is the place to be! The owner/chef is from Italy and has three restaurants in Jacksonville (one in St. Augustine).

I enjoy the live music and atmosphere at Gusto. I have tried many dishes, my favorite is the Meatball Parmiggiana w/Side Salad and their house dressing. Jordan made sure they could make my Coconut Rum & Pineapple with a Dark Rum floater.

From entering the establishment to paying the check, this is THE place to taste (and experience). Meatballs are moist and delicious, the desserts are phenomenal, cocktails were made well too! Ask for Jordan! He was an absolute joy to work with, VERY ATTENTIVE AND PLEASANT. He even took great care of our little one, making her feel super special too. You won’t be disappointed at Gusto!

This restaurant has it all: excellent food, servers, and atmosphere. It is our favorite. There are several entre selections, not just one or two, that we thoroughly enjoy. Their prices are reasonable for a higher end restaurant. And instead of country music, you can enjoy mellow jazz on certain evenings at the bar or your table.
They do charge a 3% fee for use of a credit card, but they don’t hide it and we now pay cash like the old days.

We came in on a Sat evening at 5:15 and sat at the bar. Food was good, bartender good. It just needed some background music at that time leading up to the band. It was dead silent which made it boring. Fix that on Sat nite and all will be great !

In town for business. Chose Gusto from reviews and was not disappointed. The portions are generous and all four meals were delicious. Will definitely go back when in town. There was a large crowd there for an event which is why I didn’t give 5 stars for atmosphere, but under normal circumstances I would say it would be lovely. Tables are covered in nice cloths and glassware and plates are stylish and clean. Our server was outstanding. Ask for Brooke if you want the best!

First time coming and why we waited so long is beyond me! The waiter was absolutely on point and amazing. They take reservations but we didn’t have any. We were lucky and got seated right away! My husband ordered a red wine and I got the expresso martini. Delicious!! The area we sat in was romantic and cozy! We started with a Parmesan meatball. The red sauce was light but can I say some of the best marinara.
The restaurant filled fast because of the live entertainment and obviously the food! I ordered salmon with vegetables and a salad. My husband had fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was so on point and cooked to perfection! Our whole experience was one we will tell others to experience. We just so appreciate the attention to detail and the care of the customer! I will recommend over and over and would give more than 5 stars if I could!!✨✨

Definitely get a reservation! We got there right as they opened and someone had canceled their reservation so we lucked out at getting a table but the food was delicious!
