Seated quickly, chips and guacamole on point, margarita also classic, burrito tasted a tiny bit burnt. The service was quick and the decor was festive, but the price was high for the food to be a bit off.

Went to go watch the sunset at corona del mar. Picked this place randomly and it was worth it. We both got different kinds of enchiladas which were great. The service was friendly and on point. The atmosphere was great as well as the food. Will go back and highly recommend!

The restaurant stood out for its remarkable combination of excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Staff members greeted guests warmly and continued to check in throughout the meal in a thoughtful way. The menu provided options that were appealing across a range of preferences. Food arrived quickly, with presentation that showed real care. Flavors were outstanding, with freshness in every bite. Drinks were served promptly and complemented the meals well. The atmosphere was clean, calm, and inviting, allowing guests to feel at ease. Everything about the visit was positive, making the restaurant a place that naturally encourages frequent return visits.

Really cool super old style Mexican restaurant. We were seated in a booth in the late afternoon. The history in this location was really interesting. Lots of old pictures of the past 100 years+ in business on the walls. I ordered a combo plate and the chili rellano was small and round. I guess I am used to a full size poblano. Chicken taco was a corn tortilla, stuffed with shredded chicken and held together with a toothpick, deep fried. No lettuce, pico or cheese. It was delicious but I was kinda wanting the lettuce, tomato and pico. The Paloma was traditional and freshingly perfect. Price wes as expected for the area. I will come again.

Great spot! Patio is vibrant and full of sun/shade spots. restaurant has a ton of history and and the LA location has been around for 100 years or so. Inside is lined with person pictures!
We got the fish tacos and the el carbon.
Both rice were delicious and the tacos were great. Large portions that are easily shareable. Margarita was okay, nothing special.

Ambiance: nice and clean, subtle, and family style design. Wasn’t too busy but a nice atmosphere.

Service: amazing service, quick and friendly. Had no complaints at all. Our server was knowledgeable about different tequilas and helpful with the decisions.

Drinks: I just came for a few drinks and had a great time. Had a margarita and tequila on the side. Both were delicious!

Stopped by for a light lunch and was really surprised how much we liked the food. The appetizer that we ordered had a little bit of everything so it gave me a good idea as to what the full plates would be like. The Chimichangas were the star though, crispy and juicy. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast lunch or dinner. Cheers

The good: service was great- they were quickly on top of water and (complimentary) chips and salsa, and patiently spilt a check for our party of 4. It’s super cute and fun atmosphere. Heaters on the patio for the cooler nights. A couple of vegetarian options (though limited). Coconut margarita was out of this world!

The bad: The food just wasn’t that good. My nachos were drowning in oil and cheese (and I LOVE cheese) with barely any beans or tomato salsa. My friend said her fish tacos were disappointing. The chips and salsa were ok. Wanted to love this place and couldn’t because of the food quality.

Excellent. Great location on Costa Del Mar. Fresh and authentic atmosphere with a touch of the past! Definitely a great outdoor space for beach days or date nights. And their margarita was delicious.

Absolutely delicious food – ordered a massive to go order for 12 people; chicken enchiladas, cheese enchiladas, chicken tacos, Cesar salad and the margarita mix. Every portion of the meal was fantastic! Would highly suggest trying this spot if you’re looking for some solid Mexican food!
