Absolutely loved our meal at Pietro’s Pizza. We ordered the classic cheese pizza, and it was perfectly baked with a crispy crust, great balance of sauce and cheese, and excellent flavor. The garden salad was fresh and crisp, with quality ingredients that made it more than just a side. The spicy Cajun wings were a standout—well cooked, flavorful, and with just the right amount of heat.
Great food, solid portions, and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Pietro’s to anyone looking for good pizza and wings in Hartford.

Picked up an order for a Sicilian, never been inside before but always smelled the wonderful smells and was tempted. The Sicilian was really good the sauce taste homemade nice and fresh. It wasnt greasy, or salty so yummy. Ill try other items as well, from my view all things in view looked tasty. The place is a bit small but you can grab and go. Staff was kind and informative.

I visited for lunch, and was recommended here by some locals (came to visit for a couple of days). Staff were so kind and friendly. Prices were affordable and the food was amazing! The pizza (downtown on left and pep on right) had a crispy bottom but wasn’t like a cracker or floppy (thankful for this). The wings (mango habanero) had perfect balance of spice and sweet, and also so crispy on the outside and juicey inside. The place was very clean and overall I had a great time!

I went to Pietro’s Pizza with my friend Chastin, and we were both seriously impressed with how good the food was. From start to finish, everything we ordered hit the spot.
My friend started with a salad — simple, but done right. The pizza was the real star though. You could tell it was made fresh and with care. We ended the meal with zeppoli, and wow… they were warm, fluffy, and dusted with just the right amount of sugar. Absolutely addictive.
The food came out hot, the portions were generous, and everything just tasted right. Pietro’s Pizza definitely knows how to serve up comfort food with quality. I’ll be back for sure

Update: my job drops me off right in downtown and oh boy I AM ADDICTED to this place. I have gotten food here sooo many times since that last review. I’ve tried their mozzarella sticks, (favorite mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had), I also tried their buffalo ranch fries THE CHICKEN IS SOOO GOODDD, my mouth waters every-time I order it. And my boyfriend is obsessed with their cakes, especially the red velvet one, so he makes sure I get one for him each time.
I highly recommend this place… please go! The staff are always so sweet, the pricing is fair, the atmosphere is great, there’s not one reason you SHOULDN’T come here :))

Hands down one of the best places to eat in the city it still stands. I just ordered a burger. It was delicious I mean absolutely mouth watering . The last time I ordered a Reuben sandwich with fries I forgot to put it on here. It was delicious as well and the cheesecake is so good. I had to get another one before I left. They are so amazing. The guys work hard in the kitchen you can tell when you taste the food The girls work extremely hard in the front on the business side of things to make sure everything is running very smoothly you can tell everybody there is playing their part and I look forward to eating there and seeing you guys again thank you so much for every time just wonderful exciting and flawless. I ordered from Pietro’s twice while I stayed in Connecticut. The food was absolutely delicious! The wings were tasty. The prices were perfect. Their location was convenient as they were literally downstairs and right next to my hotel. I would definitely order from them again.

Best pizza spot in the area hands down. Huge slice menu on top of a huge menu overall. Salad was delicious, meatlovers calzone was huge and will send you to sleep in a food coma. Have to come stop by and try it all. Very friendly service and staff. Will be coming back again and again! Make that walk from Platt St and enjoy!
