Loved it! Pleasant Anniversary dinner midweek with a very nice staff. Our waiter was excellent and made sure we knew the specials and answered all our menu questions. Wonderful dinner of shrimp n grits and fried shrimp. Recommend the lobster Mac as a side and crab-shrimp au gratin for a delicious appetizer. Will definitely repeat. Used the parking deck one block behind the restaurant. Easy walk.

Absolutely loved our experience at Going Coastal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—exactly what you hope for from a great coastal seafood spot. Everything we ordered was spot on, from perfectly cooked seafood to well-balanced sides. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell this place takes pride in both the food and the experience. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, enjoyable meal.

I had the lobster bisque a tossed salad with blue cheese and some mini corn muffins. My friend Jack had the blacken salmon with fingerling roasted potato’s. He had white wine and I had iced tea and coffee. Finished with their caramel cream cake. The selection of fish is excellent as I looked at Jack’s salmon. I wish I had taken the advice of the waitress and ordered the fish for dinner. The lobster bisque had too much seasoning and was very dark. Very little lobster not what I considered lobster bisque to be at all. The tossed salad came with a little dressing. The cream cake was more cream than caramel not what I was expecting. Next time I’ll get the fish. It looks really good. The place is beautiful on the inside and when I called for directions the hostess was very helpful. The location in Canton is walkable and lovely.

The shrimp and grits hit a perfect balance between familiar and unique. The sauce tasted creamy and cheesy, but didn’t feel excessive. I also LOVE that the tails were removed on the shrimp. I don’t know why so many other restaurants leave them on as they don’t add to the flavor and are just a pain to remove. There was a mix of regular-sized sautéd shrimp and also some fried mini shrimps. It was great to have both in the same dish!
Also, Google Maps seems to think this is a hotel so someone should change that.

Coastal is consistently welcoming. Great hostesses at the front, wonderful Wait staff and fun environment. Love the lobster bisque, have also enjoyed many different entrees including fish, filet and lobster /crab / red pepper cream sauce over Covina. We will be returning again soon, as Coastal never dissapoints! I’d like to see them

We had a fabulous time for dinner and drinks at Goin’ Coastal. The seafood is always on point, fresh, and cooked to perfection. My wife’s cocktail was a treat to drink!! It has been a while since we had been back, but I am glad we did. It was awesome!! The bartenders had great service and a friendly atmosphere.

Excellent dinner last night. The place gets busy and the only reservation we could get was at 4:15p. No big deal. It’s the weekend. The restaurant is beautiful and we loved sitting in the room surrounded by bottles of wine. Out waitress was excellent. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and answered several questions. We had the Low Country Shrimp Platter and the Artic Char (coastal style) over spinach and risotto. Both were fantastic and have our stamp of approval. We would recommend Goin Coastal to anyone. Just remember to check Open Table for reservation times.

4 of us went there and the food didn’t disappoint. I wish I had taken pictures but when the food came I forgot and just started to eat. I got the scallops and pesto risotto, the scallops were cooked well. The shrimp and Grits looked great. The blackened red fish was fantastic. Ordered and espresso martini, it was delicious.
