Authentic and charming experience, including warm genuine service! The food was remarkably authentic with flavor profiles I was thinking about hours after! Incredible example of Tucson mexican food, served in a warm inviting place! Going back won’t be a problem, because the prices were very reasonable. Portions were great. Check them out!

We decided it was a good day for tacos and they were delicious.
My husband had the #3 combo, I had a chicken taco and a chicken tostada, so good
And….we had sopapillas for dessert, they did not disappoint.

Angie’s Specialty~ Ortega style. Hands down the most delicious, gluttonous, Sonoran Mexican food creation. It’s so simple, but just so perfect. Bean burrito with avocado, white chile enchilada sauce, more beans, rice on the side. Also, order their cheese crisp with chiles, the perfect starter when the batch of chips wanes. The salsa is drinkable, but not for the faint of heart.

Overall the multigenerational spot has stood the test of time. The prices are steep, and the hours have been cut short, but it’s definitely worth a visit when you’re in the Old Pueblo. Authentic, family owned Mexican.

The food was warm delicious and looked spectacular. The service was great attentive and timely. The atmosphere was genuine Tucson. I have eaten at this restaurant since it was on speedway. The owner George Ortega is the son of the original owner Rosa Ortega. He is always available and has been around since he was a kid. I would recommend them to anyone who loves great food and salsa. Good parking and central location.

Our favorite mom and pop Mexican food in Tucson. Best chips, salsa and beans. Gary’s special and the #12 chicken tacos are perfect each time.

Absolutely great Mexican food. I ordered a #5 combination: shredded beef taco, red chili tamale, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. It was still sizzling when served. Wow. I really enjoyed this meal. Even the salsa was good. Just enough heat for flavor. I highly recommend Rosa’s.

Rosa’s Mexican Restaurant was very good. I had chicken tacos, which were very good, and my husband had chicken enchiladas, which were very good as well. The chicken in both of our entrées was very moist and delicious! The atmosphere was very authentic, colorful, small but in a good way and just pleasant. The whole staff was friendly, pleasant, and helpful.

The food here was not just great but it tasted authentic. Portion size and pricing was also good and just the right amount per person. The ambiance of the restaurant was also nicely laid out from the decorations to the art pieces throughout the restaurant. Staff is super friendly. If you go the flan is a must as well as the Margarita. They are both sweet enough without feeling overpowering. Will definitely come again!

The food was really tasty and just the right amount of food to be really full. We got seated right away and kept getting chips and salsa brought over, food came out in really good time and was super hot and fresh,
