Food is great but it feels like it’s a long time between seeing your waiter after you order your drinks. They do come get you drink order quick but if your not ready to order by the time your drinks come. They give you like 10 min to decide LOL so if your ready to order a min later your waiting 10 min… but after that food comes pretty quick and they check in enough your drink usually isn’t empty.

If you’re in Festus, MO, and craving some solid Mexican food, you’ve got to hit up La Pachanga. This place has been a community staple for over 20 years, and for good reason. My go-to? The arroz con camarones. Hey shrimp lovers, you need this in your life. There’s just something about shrimp in Mexican cuisine that always hits the spot. Plus, they’re currently going through a huge renovation, and the place looks amazing inside. Seriously, you’ve got to check it out.

We were very pleased and impressed with this place. Even with the “co-vid crisis” going on, we were treated like guests instead of infected. They don’t carry a mask requirement for starters. We had no wait time and our seating was immediate in a clean booth. The restroom was clean. Our food was plentiful with an appetizing appearance. Our waiter was attentive but not excessively, the entire staff was pleasant. And let me just say the frozen strawberry banana margaritas are the bomb and i will visit this restaurant again.

Have been here several times and have always had excellent food and great service but today for lunch I was very disappointed. Ordered la pachanga.. combo and it was absolutely horrible. I should have sent it back. Basically all just meat and lettuce. Service was bad, had to go to the bar to refill my drink and waiter seemed distracted and not very friendly at all.

I had such a great experience going out on a date, I brought some family members to join me for dinner that same week for a second time. We had amazing food, the service was awesome. The bill came and we noticed an item was marked for $5 over what the menu stated. We asked for the manager to come over, he appeared to be annoyed by us asking for the price to be adjusted. He stated that I was a LIAR for seeing the price on the menu different than the one on the receipt. He explained prices went up and the menu prices have changed. Then he brought another menu to the table that showed the price was blacked out. I asked him point blank did you call me a liar? He rolled his eyes and had his arms crossed. He ignored me until I asked 2 more times, then he stated it was a miscommunication. I asked for the price to be adjusted so we can get our things and leave. He finally obliged and met us at the front. He never once apologized, but instead gave an excuse on he was upset because another guest had a concern before my table. Definity should have been compensated more from my bill just from the management service alone! I told him a manager should NEVER call his guest liars! He continued to roll his eyes. Loved the food there, but that manager makes me think differently about that place. Will I go back? Most likely not!

The food was excellent, very reasonablypriced, and the service was wonderful! We will definitely be back! Word of warning, do not order a large matgarita unless you are planning to share lol … the large is EXTRA large!
