Wow! We were so impressed on our first visit while on our trip to Stuart that day two we had to come back. The pork belly, shrimp and Brussels were the bomb . The brisket taste like bourbon steak. So good, both days servers were on point. Kiley was so sweet and quick. Ask for her when you come she won’t disappoint.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered takeout and drove about 30 minutes home. I ordered a BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, but when I opened it, the chicken appeared red, and undercooked definitely not pulled. This was not a matter of preference—I know what pulled or smoked chicken looks like, and this was concerning from a food safety standpoint.
I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, Joe. Instead of apologizing or addressing the concern, he argued with me and said I “wasn’t giving the chicken a chance.” All I requested was a refund for the sandwich, which he refused to provide. I found this response extremely unprofessional, especially given the potential health risk of undercooked chicken.
I spent over $50 on this order and tipped over 20% at the drive-up window. The only positive part of this experience was the young woman who helped me at the window—she was polite and kind. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled by management ensures I will not be returning. I added pics of what pulled chicken should look like and what I received.

My friends and I stopped in during our vacation, and this place delivered one of the best BBQ meals we’ve had in ages, hands down! I went with the brisket, and it was phenomenal: incredibly tender, perfectly smoked with a beautiful bark, juicy, and full of deep, rich flavor. It didn’t need BBQ sauce. It ranks as the best brisket I’ve tasted in a very long time. That mustard-based BBQ sauce, though! Everyone at the table was obsessed. We drowned everything in it and still couldn’t get enough. If they sold it by the bottle, we’d have bought a whole case to bring home!
We arrived right at dinner rush, but got seated quickly and without any hassle. Service was top-notch: attentive, friendly, and spot-on. The whole place felt welcoming; our table, the interior, and even the exterior were spotless and well-maintained, which always makes a difference. If you’re craving authentic, crave-worthy BBQ (especially with that killer sauce), put this spot on your list. We left stuffed, happy, and were planning our next visit before we got up from the table.

Everytime my husband and I come here we always enjoy everything. We sat at the bar and Hope was amazing. She was super nice and attentive. She made lots of great suggestions. I had the brisket grilled cheese which is my favorite. I especially love adding their homemade BBQ sauces! My husband had their smothered pork chop special and there was nothing left on the plate. They never disappoint here!

I don’t often take the time to leave reviews. I ordered 10 smoked wings with sweet potato fries and hush puppies, and added the salad bar. These were the best smoked wings I have ever had. Homemade hush puppies were amazing. Sweet potato fries were also amazing. Salad bar was fresh and has all the items most everyone loves. The food here was exceptional. My server Sherri (sp?) was also very friendly and helpful, and she made me feel at home. This place is an absolute gem. Food and service is amazing. Highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back.

While In the area of Stuart, Fl I decided to go to Sonny”s BBQ, but to my dismay It was Permanently closed it was heartbreaking my go to BBQ place. So I went to my search mother Google she lead me to a place called Sweet Smoke Southern Kitchen, I ask myself the question, is it better than Sonny”s? Only one way to find out. I enter the establishment and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was pleasant and was greeted by the server I will call Vanilla, she was AWESOME! The first thing I noticed on the menu was a Chicken Pot Pie one of my favorite dish, what can I say I like them. I place an order for one, along with a chicken dinner and a sweet tea, to top it off an Apple Cobble with ice cream thank you Vanilla you talk me in to it, no complaints. Sweet Smoke as of right now is my official BBQ place in Stuart, Fl a nice family place. Kudos to the Chef!

Tasty food. Nice time. However, for a Saturday night, the restaurant could have been better. The restaurant was out of a few selections like cornbread and pecan pie. The restaurant was not packed, which worked for us. We had pulled pork and pork belly dishes. It was not a bad place for barbeque.
