This place is a gem! The chicken pot pie was spectacular. So good my grandpa would eat it. I’ll tell you what, it’s so flaky, creamy, just something your mouth will savor and crave again and again. I can’t believe it but I have to!

10/10. Price, portion, quality, service, decor, everything was awesome. We were at an Airbnb and were recommended to go here for dinner. It was our anniversary the night we went and it truly was one of the better meals and experiences we’ve had dining out. The onion rings are the best I’ve had. Huge, hot, crispy, golden and perfectly seasoned. You can tell that they keep their fryers well maintained. Ribs were Smoky, tender and not over sauced. The fries and sweet potato fries were delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was the sweet potato pie. It was my first time ever having one, so I have nothing to compare it to. It looked absolutely delicious. It was a very popular item as most of the guests were eating them. Personally, for me it was too sweet. I suggest making reservations as they get really busy. The place is huge and has plenty of seating and a patio with a pizza oven.

The Rock was an incredible place to host our welcome dinner for our wedding weekend! The team was so organized and easy to work with and the communication throughout the planning process was clear and effortless. On the night of the event, the staff was so kind and welcoming, and our guests had an amazing time! The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved that we even got to take home the leftovers. The Rock was the perfect combination of great service, great food, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. What a gem of a restaurant. They are known for their fried chicken which was fabulous on another visit but we wanted to try something different so I had the rolled flank steak special and the hubby had the bourbon glazed salmon BLT. We started with the Queso dip as an appetizer. Food was excellent and so was the service. Great timing on the food so we didnt feel rushed. Steak was some of the best I have ever eaten. This has become our new go to for our anniversary dinner. They have a nice cocktail special menu also. Go early to beat the rush as they are always busy!

Prime Rib was excellent. Brussels Sprout side dish was yummy Service (at the bar) was decent. Very friendly staff, just so busy taking care of the whole restaurant’s cocktails. Atmosphere was fine. No lake view except in summer on the patio and then it’s just the public boat launch area. Certainly would go back and looking forward to trying their wood fired pizza.

The Rock at Big Fish Lake is a decent joint to get some grub. There was a half hour wait when we went because they were so busy. They must be doing something right because this place is in the middle of nowhere. The staff were all friendly and the establishment was clean. After we were seated we had our drink orders taken right away.
The menu was pretty limited, seafood, salads some sandwiches and dinner items. Their Fried mushrooms are the best I have had anywhere. We started with those as an app and I would highly recommend them to anyone. For dinner I got the Rock Burger which came over cooked and without cheese. The waitress fixed the cheese problem as soon as we could track her down though. Others in my party had the Walleye and the Three Cheese Tortellini and both of those were excellent so maybe it was just a rough day for burgers.
The prices average ~$14.00 per meal but they are large meals and pretty good quality.
Over all it was a good place that I would go back to if I was ever in this area again.

Everything we have had is flavorful and great from burgers, pasta and the ribeye.
