Neighborhood pizzeria’s are my jam. This one is in a strip mall but was busy for lunch so it must be good. The grandpa square was lovely. The thin square also had a crunch to hit that was hard not to like. They have all sorts of specialty sliced as well. The dining room was busy for lunch which is a good sign. I would for sure come back for a slice.

First off the pizza here is good. On the expensive side (and smaller than I appreciated), 2 slices and a drink cost 13 and change. My sisters eggplant and fresh mozzarella wrap was about the same price but came with a little side salad on the same plate. I haven’t been here in at least 2 years frankly because we have good pizza closer to our house but I remember they weren’t really friendly and rushed us to order. This time was no different. They call for you to come get your pizza if you’re sitting in the little seating area (separate from their back dining room… they couldn’t care less it was me and my toddler in the visible booth avoiding the front door and leaving him alone, my sister was paying at the counter for hers). I’ll give them grace as they seem to be busy (they do look like they have good food, my sister liked the wrap but said it was dry). I guess I’m also used to the nice places out east towards us. In all honesty, despite the dissapointing size of the slices, it was perfectly heated and a thinner, crisp crust minus the overlooking other places tend to do. Sauce was good, crust very good, ratio better than many places who seem to ruin the sauce/cheese ratio by overdoing cheese. I give the food a 4, service is not much to be desired and they really aren’t a great spot with their high volume of customers and small seating. I probably wouldn’t voluntarily go again because others are as good, not as expensive for a baby slice, and have a better attitude towards their customers. Pretty good but overrated in my book!

It’s a really busy place. The service was fast and friendly. The pizza was good. The utensils and napkins were cheap. For the volume and pricing, they can afford to take up the quality a notch.
The music was a bit loud and not Italian. Not that it has to be but most Italian restaurants either play Italian music or classical opera.
If you need a slice of $4.25 pizza this is your spot.

Excellent food and service! The food was amazing. The salad, pizza and the pasta were all delicious. The portion size runs generally large. I highly recommend this place for a small family or friends gathering. This is a cozy area. The area might be tight to mobile.

The litteral only downside is that it’s so popular it’s a little cramped walking through the front door. And when the worst thing about your restaurant is it’s too good that says a lot. The food is delicious and reasonably priced the torta del sol bring a notable stand out. The staff is friendly attentive and personable, and the bread is out of this world. I highly recommend this place

Extra Charge!! I ordered a full pizza today, and while waiting I asked how much is the Grandpa Pizza slice ( a white medium hight guy wearing a gold cross necklace) told me $3.44. So, then I asked to get one slice while waiting. He changed me different price for once slice, as I paid by Apple Pay and I have seen the bank notification on my phone he changed me $5.44!!!! This is awful customer service.

Great pizza and good service even as we came in late and near closing. Pizzas came out quickly once ordered.

Have never had a bad experience here. Take out. Dine in. Doesn’t matter. Always great! The square pepperoni with hot honey is my favorite pepperoni slice of all time. I hold a monthly dinner for my guys here because of how concisistent they are. Great service and great food.

Busy Italian restaurant featuring a Wide variety of Pizza, pasta, and a wide variety of classic Italian dishes
Food was fresh, hot, attractively presented, and the portions were generous.
What most impressed me about this place was the service. Coming from the world of fine dining, I pay more attention to service mechanics than most.
The restaurant was full and I didn’t have a reservation, however was seated after a short wait. Service was prompt, cordial, interactive, knowledgeable, and well timed.
I was especially impressed by the bus staff. Tables were cleared, sanitized, seats were wiped down, floor underneath the table swept, and the tables were reset typically before the departing customers exited.
I’ll be back.

Sorry to write this because Ive been there one other time and it was pretty good but this time, went there on a Sun. Evening, it was crowded. Waited like 40 min. after ordering entrees. Service was slow and inattentive by our waiter. The appetizer of baked clams was weird tasting. Being the son of an Italian chef, I know italian food. The mussels were delicious. However, I ordered eggplant parm and spaghetti and meatballs for my son, and what happened next was crazy. The meatballs were great but the sauce used on the parm an meatballs wasnt cooked! It came right out of the can warmed up and served. It was like eating sauce right out of the tin. Horrible raw tomato uncooked. its like they ran out of their prepared sauce and just winged it by warming up uncooked tomato sauce. I should have complained but I didn’t want to wait another 45 min for my meal to come out. Hope the boss sees this and addresses problem. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them another try.
