This restaurant is very unprofessional service, poor food quality. I ordered my steak cooked medium and what I got was a slab of cold, raw meat. The outside had no color, and the inside was totally raw. it was a complete rip-off for an $23 steak. For the price they charged, it should have come with a vet, not a side potato. It’s a miracle the cow didn’t start mooing at me! After picking around the flubbery piece of meat. The manager did offer a $3 discount and had nothing else to say. The overall experience was truly disappointing.

Great diner if you find yourself in Moses Lake. Hot turkey sandwich was awesome. Fresh turkey in large thick cuts and chunks. Gravy was delicious. Wait staff was super friendly.

Went into bobs cafe after traveling a few hours over the pass, I was greeted with wonderful service! We were sat in a timely manner. Our waitress Marlea, was so polite and gave us many different options to choose from. I got the veggie sandwich with added turkey( she recommended this for a light meal) and I definitely was not disappointed!! I love the old school vibe this diner has, She definitely made us want to come back time and time again!

This is the kind of diner you expect in a small town like Moses Lake. We were here for 3 weeks and ate here almost every morning. We actually felt like locals as we would see the same customers every morning while were mostly retired men telling their stories. The food is plentiful so bring an appetite or at least someone to share it with. Everything is good so choosing one can be difficult. The servers are all very friendly and never let your coffee go empty.

The new manager there with the blonde bob is ABSOLUTELY unprofessional. Trash talking employees thinking no one could hear her, snooty attitude and all around ruining the experience of this “family friendly” restaurant. My children sitting there asking if they did something wrong because of your attitude. Our waitress was great, but when you have management rushing you, then trash talking your waitress… not a good look.

Everything tasted the same. Steak and hash browns should always taste different! Am I wrong ? Would not go back. Everything tasted like grape seed oil so maybe they just got done cleaning the grill.

I’m a truck driver, and this place is located right across the street from a truck stop. So a local place convenient for truckers was nice.
I elected to get the pork chops dinner. It came with two chops, vegetable of the day (carrots), potato, & soup or salad. I elected to get the hash browns. Everything was really good, and if I’m ever passing through the area again, I would definitely be back.

I’d give it a 3.5. I was sensing cliquish treatment from the server. She seemed to only enjoy showing courtesy with my father, which reminded me of Seattle’s cold, cliquish, social atmosphere. Kind of sucks to think you have to go some places as a posse for simple courtesies. “Bob’s Omelette” was okay, but it seemed skinny on eggs, i guess they’re still too expensive in Washington and they need to be conservative. Initially, a dirty glass was provided for water but it was promptly replaced. No extra butter for toast. House made salsa was provided for an extra $1. Bob’s still goes big on the hash browns.

I’m sorry but you cannot be charging $15 per burger for the quality of burgers you’re serving… the Patties on our burgers were THIN, DRY, And BURNT. The patty wasn’t seasoned at all. There was basically no sauce on the burger either so it just tasted bad.

This diner was one of the bright spots in an unplanned stay in Moses Lake, that started on NEW Year’s Day, after we spent two hours sitting on i90 east of town in a car with a DOA water pump, waiting for a tow.
We were lucky enough to land across from Ernie’s Truck Stop at the Baymont Inn, which is across the parking lot from Bob’s.
We visited Bob’s after a long odyssey back to Spokane to obtain a rental truck and car trailer to get ourselves back to the west side of the mountains.
We were well-served by Hayley, who took great care of us. The food was excellent.
I had the pork chops with a baked potato and veggies. The soup was excellent, and the loaf of bread we shared was a nice touch. My partner had chicken parmesan.
Being able to toast New Year’s Day with my favorite beer was an added bonus. The desserts looked illegally good, but I didn’t have room.
I’m a truck driver, so I’m pleased to know I can park nearby and get back here again. Everything was delicious.
