PJ’s features a Wisconsin-inspired theme to create a warm, inviting, and relaxed atmosphere where you’ll feel comfortable gathering for lunch or dinner. In the summer, you can enjoy PJ’s Live—our free concert series on the patio. Year-round, you’ll find a wide variety of beer, cocktails, and wine to pair with your meal. Among the 28 tap beers served are two exclusive offerings—PJ’s White Ale, a private label brewed by Point Brewery, and PJ’s Red Lager, a private label brewed by 3 Sheeps Brewery. The seasonal menu at PJ’s is a tribute to Wisconsin flavors. It features delicious, handcrafted dishes using locally sourced ingredients. We’re proud patrons of the Stevens Point Farmers Market and partners with Central Rivers Farmshed.

Pictured is the braised pork shank with mashed potatoes and gravy. An insanely tender pork dish with some of the best mashed potatoes around. The only sad part is that I know at one point it will no longer be on the menu. However, I’m extremely excited to see what we get next. The kitchen and staff deserve an insane amount of praise. As Wisconsin Rapids locals, we will never debate about making a trip out to Point if PJ’s is on the agenda. Compliments all around, please just ignore the fact that I’m a Bears fan living in Wisco!
Everything else we got was at minimum B tier and as high as A+ tier – beer selection, made-in-house sauces, classically executed American dishes. Just so excellent all around, would absolutely recommend and return.
The first time I went here was for my husband’s Christmas party for work and everything was perfect. The food, service, atmosphere, drinks. Couldn’t ask for anything better. The second time was still great but I decided to explore their menu more and the atmosphere was much different.
The flash fried brussels were just amazing, I honestly couldn’t stop eating them. My husband doesn’t even like brussel sprouts and liked them. Their cheese curds are always spot on, so very lightly breaded and crispy with two dipping options. We both had the Hanger steak that comes with fries, a watercress salad topping, and a borderlaise sansthe mushrooms. I ordered mine medium well and received it medium rare. My husband ordered medium rare and his was the same temp and color as mine. HOWEVER, the peppery sear on the steak was perfect.
There was extraordinary loud music playing outside, I believe there may have been an event going on so it was extremely loud in the restaurant, but I know it isn’t always like that and it is beautiful inside. There is also outside dining available.
A heads up for fellow disabled friends, if you are making a reservation let them know the type of table you would like ahead of time. There are only 2 or 3 booths I believe and they are not full booths. The chairs are hard and lean back at an angle so they are not back friendly, bring your back supports.
Food and dessert was very, very good. Those I was with had little to complain. Mostly about personal taste. Such as the Fish & Chips coleslaw wasn’t flavored as expected. Nothing wrong, just nothing special or as expected. Red small potatoes were excellent but over salted. Steakes were perfect! Pizza was fabulous. Difficult to wreck a dessert, as such these too were great.
