This location is nicely situated downtown and holds up to the standards I’ve received at other Great States.
The burgers and fries (and fry sauce) are nice and tasty. I’m always satisfied with what I get. I love that they have Jones Soda on tap. It’s a tad pricey but the quality is there.
This location is pretty nice. A good amount of seating for a downtown storefront. There’s even a little hangout area with limited games.
I have found that the operating hours for this location can fluctuate from time to time over the past few years. I.e. I’m never 100% sure they will be open when I think they will be. But that seems to have stabilized recently as I haven’t seen any changes for a while.
Overall, a very good option for a burger downtown.
I ordered a great state burger and a hot coffee. It was cold in Seattle, so it was great to have a hot coffee. The burger was quite delicious and juicy.
Got their signature burger and fries combo. The highlight was that the fries were ok crinkle cuts. But whatever they are using for ketchup is really bad. Sweetened tomato paste.
The lowlight was the burger. Small, mushy, and the thin grey beef patty had an off flavor.
Their soda machine varieties are Jones soda, but the first 3 I tried were empty, putting out seltzer water. That should be unacceptable for a burger place at lunch time.
Overall, for $17 (and they ask for a tip) you’d get a much better tasting burger meal at McDonald’s or an average fast food place. I wouldn’t come back here.
Fun little arcade area to play in while waiting, and TVs playing different sports programs during my visit.
The burger was delicious, and the fries were crisped perfectly. My absolute favorite had to be the State Sauce. Omg SO GOOD.
Inside is new and warm. I like how they have kiosks where you can order your burger. Reminds me of the kiosks at Shake Shack. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
Service is fine. You order at the kiosk so there’s not too much server interaction. They took a bit longer with my order but I think that’s because I ordered onion rings and they take longer to make.
Booths are small as balls.
It’s ungodly expensive.
Told them we have an allergy, they put it in a side dish….
