It doesn’t matter that it’s gluten free, I’d be surprised to find a brewery that I like better.” Google Review

This place is an absolute must-visit for anyone who is gluten free. We were visiting Seattle from British Columbia (Canada) for my boyfriend’s 42nd birthday in June of 2025. He is celiac, and I wanted to find him somewhere with good gluten free options. When I looked up gluten free places in Seattle to celebrate and saw that there was an entirely gluten free menu at Ghostfish, I knew we had to go, and they did not disappoint! We had to take a 20 minute Uber ride to get there from our Hotel (we ended up walking back after because the weather was so nice) but it was 100% worth the effort and the adventure!
I kid you not – my boyfriend was in tears reading the menu. He was nearly overwhelmed with the options, as he has never been to a restaurant where he can order literally anything off of the food or drink menu without issue. We both ordered and enjoyed delicious beers. He ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered the chicken tenders. We ate every last thing on our plates, and enjoyed every sip. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, and the food and drink options were great. The wait wasn’t long, and even if it had been – it was worth the wait!
I 10/10 recommend this place, and we will visit again if we’re ever in Seattle!

Was pleasantly surprised at the Gluten free menu and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and meal. The bbq pork belly bites were delicious as well as everything else. We got the flight of beers and the little glasses were the perfect size for us to share and enjoy.

Went to Ghostfish Brewing while visiting Seattle from North Carolina. It was absolutely amazing! I have been gluten free for 5 years and this was such a fun find and treat! I had the chicken tenders and Parmesan fries. So good! My boyfriend who is NOT gf had the spicy chicken sandwich and said he couldn’t tell it was gf. The bun was super good, which is rare with gf. We also had a cider and the coffee blonde. Both were delicious! We will definitely be returning next time we are in town.

My wife is gluten-free and we have been looking forward to Ghostfish Brewing Company and they did not disappoint. The fish and chips were phenomenal, their onion rings were flavorful and crispy, the teriyaki wings….amazing, and the poutine was on so good. Every beer we tried was absolutely delicious. Chelsie, the bartender was so hospitable and friendly, and the brewery itself was very clean and TVs to watch sports.

Gluten free food and beer is delicious and awesome. Feel very lucky to have a brewery in the area that specializes in this. Have been here numerous times and will be back!

It’s awesome to have a dining out experience that is so easily gluten free, that includes beer and breaded items. The food quality taste was outstanding, and had the added benefit of being stress free from being a dedicated gluten free facility. I had their fish and chips…. it is now my new favorite dish and restaurant.

I’m sitting here happy, full, and tipsy while eating here on a Sunday afternoon watching the Seahawks. Great day if you ask me.
The coating on the fish and onion rings are phenomenal. I also had the spam hash; delicious..cancels out the fried food with the veggies .
We got to try a few of their beers too. I liked the white ale. Being newly diagnosed with celiac disease this year, it brings me great joy that its possible to still have normalcy and a great meal for a foodie like me. ✨

Best gluten-free option in the Pacific Northwest!
My wife and I have enjoyed the Ghostfish every time we have gone. She is celiac / gluten free and has never had an issue or gotten “poisoned” with the beer or food. I believe the server who told us, “the only gluten in the restaurant is what you brought in.”
We always devour the food before taking photos, trust me, it is delicious! The fish and chips and onion rings are worth it and highly recommended. Insider tip, get a side of the beer cheese for the rings
A must if you’re passing through Seattle!
Update 7-20-2025: Don’t pass up the opportunity for brunch on Sunday. Amazing food and 20 oz drafts at a great price.
If you stop in and enjoy the beer cheese, tell them the “Beer Cheese Guy” sent you. And if you agree, help me with getting a broccoli beer cheese soup on the menu. I’ll feel less guilty drinking it then! Enjoy the must stop in Seattle. Cheers

My new favorite place. Gluten free beers…so good. The greatest food menu for Celiacs and nonceliacs. Staff are so kind. Nice atmosphere. Fast service. Best onion ring, fries, fish and chips. Spicy chicken sandwich is SO good. Can’t wait to go again.

We went to this restaurant not for the brewery, but for the gluten-free menu which one person in our party wanted to try. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and the bun on the sandwich was delicious, I would not have guessed it was gluten free. The chicken was cooked perfectly, was tasty, and the fries were hot and crispy. There was a Mariners game the day we were there so the restaurant was very busy but even so the service was pretty good. Our server was very attractive, too. The one thing I wished they would do differently is serve brewed iced tea. I do not drink soda pop and I wasn’t really there for beer. They did serve tepid tap water without ice. That was not so enjoyable for me. I did drink two of their craft beers. They were pretty good but I am not a huge fan of craft beers. Parking is limited. There is a paid parking lot across the street and free parking at the end of the block, but had it not been for the Mariners game, it’d probably would have been easier to find parking. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
