we used to love this place bc btw 3-6pm you can get 6.99 appetizers with any drink purchase… And they have a yummy house margarita. However at our last visit in May we were less than satisfied. 2 employees were crowding in the bathroom piercing a body part. I had to ask them to move so I could wash my hands, then again so I could dry them. Also, our food was very greasy. When I brought it up to my server she laughed. I got on their website to send an email and didn’t receive a response.

This was my first time visiting this location in about 10 years and I don’t plan to return. The server, although he was very nice, was very malodorous. My daughter asked for a substitution on her order, the same thing she orders at every other location. Another man approached the table without introducing himself to inform us that it’s at the GMs discretion to make substitutions. I had to ask him if we were still talking about egg rolls because he got a little intense. Our drink order took a very long time to arrive and were watered down. My drink was wrong. Our food orders took a very long time to arrive and all the food was cold. I ordered the French dip sandwich rare, it arrived well done. I was shocked to see this location serves a much smaller size sandwich for the same price!! Ive had it at several other locations. We noticed at least two other tables reporting issues to the manager. Here’s a tip, fire the manager.

The drink was made to with just enough happy to make you sure it was the right thing to order…… plus it was Happy Hour, making the appetizers and liquid courages more enjoyable to the eyes and the wallet.

Service was horrible and my party had 8 people in it so gratuity was automatically included. You will see in pic I ordered two of the same drinks at the same time 1 glasswad full the other was 3/4 full and the bar tender informed me that one had more ice than the other. 1st time I’ve heard that one. Never willingly go back to this establishment.

If I could give zero stars I would! This location is the worst in KC. Tonight, for my birthday I had a party of 4 adults 3 children. It took an hour to seat us and and 30 minutes to get our drink orders. After almost 2 hours, our order was taken and the server hardly ever visited our table and never finished bringing our drinks. After seeking a manager he started reading off times as if nothing else mattered. At the end, we received our tickets and was told we’re forced to pay gratuity for unacceptable customer service and because we had a party of 6 people including children. I was told this was store policy. While speaking with the rude unprofessional manager, he calls security and said if we couldn’t afford it, then don’t eat here. After security comes he says he doesn’t need assistance when other people in the restaurant start to voice how rude and unprofessional he was being. My birthday dinner was ruined and I will never step foot in this place again. I will be contacting fox 4 and corporate with video proof as well.

Food was OK. My steak was well done, had ordered medium. Wife was given double entree which she didn’t order. At least the manager comped that part. Never got my salad. Meal came out in several parts, not all at once. Glass ran empty several times. Bright spot was the lady that delivered our food. She was nice. Went to one of the bathroom and one of the staff came in just to play on his phone. Had to ask him to move so I could get papertowel. I don’t think we will be back to this location. Well make the hike to Lee’s Summit next time

They gave me a free Fish Called Wanda to go with out me even asking because mine had fell apart in a few places. It wasn’t even that bad. My side salad was as fresh as always! But the Fry’s were a little salty for my taste, but not enough to complain. Service was great as usual!

The staff and the food was great. The waiter kept forgetting some of our orders causing some of us to wait for over 45 minutes while the rest of our party ate and completed their meals. The waiter failed to keep track of who ordered what so the invoices were incorrect. The manager was apologetic and offered a discount for the meal. It took over 30 minutes to get our bills corrected so that we could leave. If you plan on going as a group or family just be clear with waiter as to what you want and be patient. Not a good place to go if you are in a hurry.

My husband and I used to go there at least twice a month for the past 10 years. Whenever family or friends visited, we’d take them to 54th Street. That’s not going to happen anymore. Our server was less than attentive. It took 15-20 minutes for drinks to come out even though we saw our server several times talking with people and even sitting down at booths to chat. I ordered a steak medium rare and it came out so well done that I had trouble chewing it. The second round of drinks took even longer and if the server had stopped for a second to see how things were, I would’ve asked her to cancel them. Instead, those drinks came at the same time as the check. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the fries were freshly made. We won’t be recommending it to anyone again.
