Very warm & friendly greeting by the owner/ host. It was busy however he directed us to a perfect table.
The service was quick and efficient. The coffee was nice, hot and smooth. The food was absolutely delicious… this is the best café on the Gold Coast. You have to try!

Lovely French coffee shop with a beautiful atmosphere and very nice food. The staff are kind, hardworking, and the place itself is very pleasant a great spot to enjoy coffee or breakfast.
One thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was observing a gentleman (not sure if he is the owner or manager) directing staff. The way he pointed with his finger to indicate what needed cleaning felt uncomfortable to watch, and it seemed the staff were under constant pressure to have everything done immediately. This created a slightly tense atmosphere, which took away from the otherwise relaxed experience as a guest.
Everything else was very good. As a small suggestion, offering cold water would be greatly appreciated, especially during hot weather.
Overall, a beautiful place with great food that could be even better with a calmer and more relaxed working and dining atmosphere.

LJC is my usual spot for an out-of-usual brekky. We can always find something interesting in the French-inspired menu. Coffee there is one of the best in the area and the crew is always friendly. Occasionally I go there just for a to-go coffee (the design of their cups is a sign of attention to details).

I had COTIERE OMELETTE and cafe latte
It was a bit complicated for me as a first visit here to go to the counter for ordering and to get tap water by myself
After I got my water, my food was on the table
The omelette was lovely
The baguette was nice too
Smoked salmon was soft and juicy
I wanted some black pepper on it but it was empty
So I asked to get another one but it was nearly empty oh dear
I would love to try their crepe next time

Right in the mecca of great places to eat, this place is worth a stopover in the middle of a busy schedule. A little harder to find (we were keen to see if the other reviews were on point) so were pleasantly surprised by this little oasis. French music playing, cute little outdoor patio area- you’d think you’re in France! Loved the authentic crepes especially the plain with lemon. Coffee is good, although I’d go for the crepes any day (maybe with a wine next time!)
