We have not been able to enjoy an IHOP in quite some time. We happen to be visiting friends in Michigan and went to this IHOP restaurant that looked quite new. We had a very friendly waitress who was very attentive, took our order quickly and delivered our food quickly. Everything tasted excellent. It was all cooked fresh and hot and fast and tasted great. The concept of the newer restaurant is very nice and modern very clean. It was very busy and I’m glad to see it was doing well.

My husband & I went here for a quick bite. Waited forty minutes before we even got our food. Place was empty. Even waited forever just for our drink orders to be taken and then when we got our food it wasn’t even made right. Didn’t make a big deal just let our server know. Our total was 27.12 and we paid our card and left her a cash tip which was far more than what was deserved by the service we received. A day later I get a notification that they updated our total to 37.12!! I did not authorize this. As I said before wI left a cash tip so no total should have been adjusted. The receipt we signed even had the total 27.12. I will never use a card at this place EVER again not sure we will ever return. You should be able to trust a business when using your card out. I called the restaurant, manager unavailable.. was told the server we had BRIANA J updated the total. She knew she was left a tip not sure why she fraudulently updated our total. Maybe she thought we wouldn’t notice but I sure did. I would stay far far away from this server. I’m curious how many customers have been ripped off and never noticed!

First time we went to IHop in Jackson Michigan. We went to try their $6.00 breakfast deal. The place was clean and great decor. Our waitress Akara was one of the best waitresses I ever had. We didn’t expect good food at this price but everything was delicious! I usually don’t order sausage but I did and it was browned good and juicy at the same time . Pancakes and the eggs cooked to perfection . I had to look at the receipt to believe it, the bill was $12.00 for 2 people to have a big breakfast! Our new favorite breakfast place!

I am not a big breakfast person but when I do eat it at IHOP, I do so with the expectations of what the brand will afford. My Taste Bud and I, have been dining at IHOP for at least 2 decades. We go back because we know what we like and we know what to expect. This time though, was the first time that I was disappointed with the food.
The fluffy pancakes were hard and crispy and tasted like too much baking powder was added to the batter. To top it off, my over hard eggs and bacon came out burnt. I sent the eggs back(cause over hard is not synonymous with burnt.) After a bit, the replacement eggs came out but they where runny. If you are an over hard egg eater, I don’t have to tell you how turned off I was at this. IYKYK ♀️ ♀️. I know, I know, reader, I know. This s is very much a 1st world problem.
Anywho, we got over it. Shout out to our server Logan and the manger. My Taste Bud enjoyed their meal, although they did agree that the pancakes fell flat .
Franchises are great choices because the standard dictates that you get what you expect. This time around, my expectation was not met but maybe next time Jackson, Michigan. Maybe, next time.

Thought I would try it after many years of not having. Still not satisfying.
If that wasn’t so bad, I was there waiting for 20 minutes just to get a cold, mediocre product anyway.
The omelet was dry. (That’s the BEST way to describe it.) The pancakes were mediocre at best.
Just not a fan of the brand, I suppose. I won’t be going back.

Came here with a big party and they were very accommodating and super fast with our food. We called ahead the day before, and they were super helpful in our informal reservation. On a Sunday morning we were there at a busy hour, but our server, Alexandria S. was super sweet, quick, and understanding. Had a great breakfast here!

Every time I have gone there they always complain that the long wait times are due to being understaffed. It took me 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee and over an hour to get my food. The food was good but not worth the long wait times.
