Being a small eater, they were gracious to let me order from the kid’s menu. I had gnocchi with bolonaise sauce which I believe is the grandmother of the owners recipe.
After 1 spoonful, I wished I had ordered the large serving. Ot was absolutely delicious hitting all the right taste buds.
I also had oxtail aracini which sadly was disappointing – there was no taste of oxtail.
However the sparking L’Ormarins classic rose brut that staff recommended was just stunning!
The food is really good, nice varied menu.
The restaurant was really busy and buzzing, good atmosphere.
Service a bit on the slow side, but would still recommend.
We have been here about 4 times. Our choice of wine was not available. The muscles tonight was so offish. They are over priced with average food.

The restaurant was BUZZING on a Wednesday night, beautiful atmosphere and amazing food. I’m gifted with the ability of finding the best restaurants which is why he leaves all date night picks to me
1) Duck spring rolls : slow cooked Chinese style duck, carrots, cabbage, spring onion and served with sweet plum and ponzu dipping sauce
2) Ravioli of the day
3) Brandy peppercorn fillet : 250g fillet oven roasted and served with velvet brandy and black peppercorn cream sauce, triple cooked chips, an umami and caramelized onion reduction and a fresh green side salad
4) FINALLY got to have my Beef wellington.
Wellington con pancetta : 250g fillet wrapped in pancetta, smothered in mushroom sauce and baked in a buttery puff pastry. Accompanied by herby mashed potato and red wine jus. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dish

Our Friday evening visit began with their exceptional espresso martinis—now officially my new favourite. Served in beautifully chilled glasses, they were perfectly balanced, rich, and smooth—setting the tone for the meal to come.
For mains, we couldn’t resist the beef and pork bolognese gnocchi. It was superb. The gnocchi was soft, light, and airy—exactly how it should be—and the rich, flavourful sauce clung to each bite with just the right balance of savoury depth.
To end off on a sweet note, we shared the coffee crème brûlée, which was a delightful twist on a classic dessert—creamy, aromatic, with that satisfying crack of the caramelised top.
