Large parking lot, inside and outside seating avaliable. Great service from all the staff. The pretzel appetizer and salad were Amazing. That Cajun shrimp Alfredo was basically a really runny soup, and didn’t have any heat what so ever. The Cajun and shrimp combo taste more like lemon and vinegar than anything else. The loaded baked potato was perfect with a great cheese pull. The potato soup was also really good. It was a nice thick soup with lots of vegetables. The to go containers and cups were nice and sturdy. Over all it was okay, but not my first pick of places to eat.

We went here as walk-ins, it took a quick 10min wait on a busy night. They sat us just as we had asked and took our drink order immediately. We recived our drinks so fast and politely that my drink was in front of me before I knew our server was there. We all ordered soon after and recived our salads within 7 or so mins. It crisp and fresh. There was a good helping of it so our main course arrived before I was finished. But here’s the kicker, I had ordered the bourbon pork chops and the manager greeted me at our table to inform me that they were out of pork this night and I could order anything else on the menu and she was comping it I replaced my order with steak she suggested to make it the 10oz and I accepted. I ordered it rarebecause most steak houses over cook to be on the safe side. This steak was perfectly rare. It was dark red in the center and had the best 1/16″ sear to the outside then it was topped with garlic butter. This steak was a single drop of blood away from not being cooked enough and a single drop away from being dry lol what I mean to say is it could not have gone in either direction and been better than it was. We we’re attended to so well we always had drinks and food and the servers were not intrusive to our conversations as many other places are when checking on how your doing. This place is truly respectful and is now officially my #1 for steak. I highly recommend Big Whiskey’s in Republic, Mo.

This place is great if you want great food and great service. The wings and ranch are so good, it makes my mouth water thinking about them. The severs are always quick and respectful. As a bar I expect TVs anywhere you can plaster them, but when you have them so loud you can’t hear your friends it’s a bummer. Don’t get the Drop it Like it’s Hot drink, that’s weird as heck. Definitely one of the better food spots in republic. 9/10

We had the best experience here in Republic! Our server, Soledad, was absoultely perfect! She was very friendly and gave us excellent service! She made sure we had fresh full drinks and checked on us often. She also made sure we had everything we needed for our meal! Our food was also delicious and fresh and hot! Best food and service we have had at a restaurant in a while! Thank you Soledad and Big Whisky’s!! We will be back soon!

I eat here weekly. I swear they can never get it right. If I don’t ask for a second ranch dressing I can be fore sure I won’t get one. The server will say she personally put it in the bag but it’s never there. They always forget something. Today I was shorted chips. I’m done. We won’t be back because they can never get it right.

Had the southwest chicken salad… It was wonderful! Tried to eat the whole thing, but it’s too big. Not complaining cause I walked away happy!
Update… Had the fish and chips… Delicious. Again, more food than I can eat.
Update… Had the three tacos with 2 sides… Very good, needed a little bit of spice. With chicken buffalo dip for appetizer. Yummy!
Update again: had the Thursday special… 6 Oz steak with fries for $10… Medium… Delicious! Maybe a bit too much pepper but not terrible. I could still taste steak and potatoe. Steak butter was really good too.
Also had buffalo dip with chips. Joe had buffalo chicken strips and fries. Good food, good service.
Update again: had the 6 oz sirloin… Medium… Very fatty and a bit tough. Disappointed. The broccoli was good. The mashed potatoes were fair, but kind of stingy in the portion department. Joe had his usual buffalo chicken wrap with fries which was as good as normal.
Update… I got Granny Smith’s turkey Gouda sandwich and the loaded potato salad…. AND raspberry lemonade… It was awesome!!!! I didn’t change anything on the sandwich and discovered a new wonderful favourite. Thank you big whisky!!!
Update again… I had the Tavern chicken sandwich… Chicken and bacon on a brioche roll with a delicious sauce and toppings. My dude was loaded potato salad. And my drink of choice. Delicious!! Recommend this sandwich.

Got there 545. Seated and waited 30 minutes for our drinks (mostly water. ..no alcohol)
We came here because my Mom passed away 1 year ago today and my Dad goes to the bar there and we usually eat there a few times a year.
I was sick and asked for my order/drink to go. Everyone almost done eating and I had to go to the bar and wait on my order that was supposedly forgotten. I ordered coastal combo (chicken, shrimp, penned pasta). Walked out of restaurant close to 730.
Got home to willard……no pasta in my order. Only chicken/shrimp.
Good Lord people ….do better. If you are overwhelmed…..use a wait list for petes sakes!

Our server Bailey was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. She had the drink refills out before we were even half done. The food was good in taste and appearance and was hot. It came out quickly considering how busy they were on a Tuesday night. Will be back

I was at the Republic Mo Big Whiskey Restaurant.. First time family and all…. It was a wonderful experience Kenny was really friendly and informative… Our Waitress Hanna was always around to assist… Place was clean upbeat. The food was out of this world!!..Best Waffles Ever.. All plates of food where fresh. Cant say enough except like in the Movie. I’ll be Back!!
