This is not a flattering review of Taco Bell at 13545 SW 17th Court (on Hwy 484).
I placed my order with the app, on-site, and waited for the order. After several minutes at the service counter, I was asked if I was picking up an order to which I answered yes, and gave my name.
There I stood waiting several minutes more, when I was told there was some equipment issue causing the delay and was asked if I wanted to substitute my beef chalupa for a gordita. I agreed to accept the gordita.
An inexperienced young lady placed the food items in a bag with little care and the fries ended in the bottom of the bag. When I got to the car I tried a couple of the fries and found them cold. I went back and asked to have them replaced for fresh ones and was told the fryer was down. Immediately, I was given a coupon for a free taco on my next visit.
The manager didn’t seem to be concerned about making things right for a customer not having a good experience in her restaurant. Being in Ocala, Florida there are a plethora of authentic Mexican restaurants, therefore, you would think that Taco Bell would do their very best to offer a decent product and great service.
The order cost me over $14 and I received cold, soggy and flatten food (see pics), when I could have received higher quality food for the same price, from practically any authentic Mexican restaurant.
The poor customer service and the bad experience has discouraged me from wanting to visit Taco Bell again!

Food was made perfectly and store was very clean and organized. Ordered at the kiosk and paid cash at the register. Total was 12.82 and gave her 13.07 to get a quarter back. After going around in circles about basic math: 18¢ change plus my 7¢ equals 25¢ (a quarter) for at least 45 seconds I gave up. It was incredibly sad. Wait for food felt very long with only one other customer inside and slow drive through, but maybe online orders?

We’ve been here a few times since it’s close to home. The service is always a little rough and they’re often “out” of things. I’ve never left a review, but tonight they left out three items from our order. I understand that fast food won’t always be perfect, but three items missing is egregious.

I live nearby, and I love taco bell. This is the closest taco bell to me, and I will NOT be going back here again. They do everything so half assed and facetious, for example just today I did a mobile order for a luxe box, the beefy 5 layer burrito- I specifically asked for NO beans. When I received my box, the beefy 5 layer had no beef, no cheese- just filled with refried beans and red salsa.
How do you mess that up unless you’re doing it on purpose? This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this taco bell, but it will be the last.

If half ass had a franchise… didn’t post until buritto number three ,no cheese except on one third of the burrito. My 8 yeah old does better on accident. When askedd the counter about it they said “ that’s how they are made what else do you want me to do…….

Don’t ever place big orders here, 9x out of 10 they forget multiple items and everything looks thrown together like literal slop. Not to mention they wanna have attitudes when you try to have it corrected.

Nobody at the counter for over 10 minutes, and when they finally responded to me being there, I got nothing but attitude. People here are just lazy and rude…just what we’ve all come to expect from Taco Bell!
