I thought the pizza was excellent! It’s not the typical NYC pizza but it was still very good. We each got two slices and they were huge so just know ahead how hungry you are. The Buffalo pizza was my favorite. The shredded check-in was moist with a delicious garlicky spicy sauce. The staff were also nice. It was clean. The crust in the pizza was also very good it was crunch and airy.

Our visit was influenced by a good review and a drive to sample some of NYC’s finest we decided to check it out. Stylized and similar to Detroit square deep dish…this one varied in a thinner crust. Fresh ingredients fused with a very rich crust that’s reminiscent of quality EU breads. We loved it. Price points seem quite reasonable. I recommend check it out.

My favorite spot to grab a slice of pizza in NY! I love the crispiness of the crust, the variety of flavors, and how generous they are with every topping. Plus, the staff here are super friendly and go out of their way to provide a good experience! I only get to come every 3-6 months because I live out of state but they somehow remember me every time, which is always a nice feeling. The last time I was here, I came a little after the dinner rush and was disappointed that they had run out of my favorite flavor – and they offered to make me a pie fresh!
The inside only has 5 small tables so it can get a little crowded during a rush but they have great to go boxes so you can enjoy your slices on the go or in one of the many nearby parks.

I absolutely love My Pie Pizzeria Romana! I usually stop by on my lunch breaks, and it’s always a highlight of my day. I get the buffalo mozzarella pizza every time, and it never disappoints — the quality and consistency are amazing. The crust is perfect, the ingredients taste fresh, and you can really tell they care about what they’re serving. The service is always so sweet and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. We chose to visit this place because of the excellent reviews—and we definitely did not regret it. From the very first bite, both the taste and the friendliness of the staff were well above our expectations.
I tried the mushroom pizza, and it instantly became my favorite. My son ordered the buffalo cheese pizza, and it was amazingly juicy, loaded with toppings, and full of flavor.
The dough deserves a special mention—it’s outstanding and completely different from what you get at most regular pizza places in New York. You can really feel the quality and care in every slice.
We would absolutely recommend everyone to visit this place. However, there is a very limited dining area, be mindful about that.

I recently ordered pizzas from My Pie Pizzeria Romana and I was pleasantly surprised. First of all they told me they had sugar free pizzas. I was skeptical about this being true but it was in fact very true. The pizza box has a brief story about how the process the doug and how the ingredients are sugar free.
We ordered several slices to try them all. We had buffalo chicken, prosciutto, regular and Margarita. Let me tell you ALL of them were excellent !! Great crust not too filling so you can try more. My favorite was definitely Margarita. I usually don’t eat more than two slices but this time I need to try at least three. The buffalo chicken was also gone in minutes. It was an excellent meal. I definitely will be ordering from there again. Yaren who took our order was very specific with the menu and everything came on time. I highly recommend it and we’ll be ordering from Pizza Romana again.

Went in around 5:25 PM on a Saturday—no wait, quick service. The slices are big and filling, about $7 each. I had the buffalo chicken, and my wife got the truffle mushroom—both were excellent. Crispy, airy crust with plenty of toppings, exactly what you want from Roman-style pizza. Chill vibe, friendly staff. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re nearby.

Good value. Interesting flavors. The Buffalo chicken ($7) had a spicy but salty sauce – there was a substantial amount of chicken. The dough is a little chewy. The crust was a crispy. The truffle mushroom pizza had a fair amount of mushroom ($6) but could have used more truffle oil. The warmed up pizza was not hot enough. Annoying. The rectangular pizza was filling enough and a good size for a snack. 2 slices would make it a meal. $14 total with tax. A reasonable price for a meal in midtown Manhattan. April 2025.
