Granny’s Southern Smokehouse was just that … Smokey flavor with the perfect amount of sweetness with the sauce. I really enjoyed my meal. I was very impressed with the food portion for lunch as well as the hotness of the food and flavor. I placed an order for pickup not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I’m so happy that I searched up lunch in my area and found this gem. The service was quick over the phone and I was greeted by a nice young lady at the register. The ambiance is nice as it gives an old country feel, my preference is always too sit outside but if you prefer inside there’s plenty of seating. I might come back tomorrow as I stated the food was really good. Kudos to the chef and staff for such excellent service 🙂

We found this place just passing through from West Palm back to Ormond. AMAZING!!! Absolutely the BEST BBQ we have ever had and hubby comes from an area known for their BBQ. Granny’s is hands down the best you will find anywhere! We got the sampler that came with 4 different meats. Never seen ribs so big and the dry rub on them is magical. We tried the collards, coleslaw and corn pudding for our sides. All were fabulous and huge portions. We had enough for two more meals we brought home. Owner (Granny’s grandson) super nice and his staff also friendly and helpful. We won’t go anywhere else for BBQ and will drive the 2 hours to get Granny’s!

A one of a kind experience. my wife and I love BBQ, but my father and mother on the other hand are not big fans of the genre. After my mom and dad split a brisket basket with the corn casserole and coleslaw, my dad wants to comeback Tuesday and order everything on the menu. A must try if you are in the area or live in Saint Cloud. A place like this is worth keeping around and supporting this family owned business.

The sides were just as impressive: crispy fried green tomatoes, creamy mac and cheese, perfectly fried okra, and sweet, savory baked beans that tied everything together. So glad we found this spot in St Cloud. Amazing BBq and very friendly staff. My wife and I purchased the meal designed to feed 3 people and had plenty to take home. We will absolutely come back and make this our new BBQ night routine.

My husband and I were looking for a good BBQ spot in St. Cloud, and found this place with almost a 5 star rating. It’s a nice, small restaurant downtown with an attched parking lot. It is counter service, and the ladies at the front were both very welcoming. We both ended up getting up getting ribs because we were not sure, about the portions sizes, but they are very generous. I love the dry rub it is slightly sweet, but has a savory quality to it. They didn’t even need sauce, but the sauce is great also, not too sweet but complemented the ribs. They definitely have an experienced pitmaster. All the sides we had were great. My favorites were the fried okra and corn. I can’t wait to try their chicken when I go back. They are definitely a 5/5 for me.

It is located in residential area, non touristic area of St.Cloud. The seasoning of ribs turn out to be so good that you would not need any additional BBQ sauce.

At first, I had a small issue with the tea, but the owner personally came out, made it right, and brought me a fresh one — excellent customer service! The barbecue was very good overall. The ribs were my absolute favorite — tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. The pulled pork came in a close second, and while the barbecue beef wasn’t quite my style, it was still decent. I definitely recommend Granny’s if you’re in the mood for real Southern BBQ done right!

If you’re looking for the best barbecue in town and honestly, probably all of Florida…this is it. The food is absolutely incredible, perfectly juicy, mouthwatering, and packed with flavor. I love the smoked chicken it’s next level and the sweet potato fries are a must try! Beyond the food, the service is top-notch. The owner, J, is a super nice local guy who is incredibly accommodating. Even during a busy rush, he was great about working with me on an issue I had with my order. It’s rare to find that kind of genuine hospitality these days. You have to try this local gem in Saint Cloud!
