Delicious authentic Latian American food. The empanadas were bursting with flavor! The chicken was spot on, moist and flavorful. The drink menu has tons of options including the classic margaritas! The restaurant is beautiful with a chill atmosphere. Services was amazing and fast.

Fronteras Mexican Cuisine delivered one of the better dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was fairly prompt, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed.

The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish tasted like it was made with care, and the portions were generous. The salsa and chips came out perfectly crisp, the entrées were seasoned just right, and everything arrived hot. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they do.

The atmosphere was warm, clean, and comfortable, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual dinner or celebrating something special, Fronteras is an excellent choice.

Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Let Jess Tell It – Fronteras Tacos, Tequila & Wine
Columbus, OH | Visited: Weekend Evening

If you’re looking for high-energy vibes, glowing cocktails, and a robot rolling through the dining room, Fronteras might be your kind of fun.

Quick Info for First-Time Diners:
• Price per person: $20–$35 depending on drinks and apps
• Wait time for a table: 10–20 mins on a weekend (we walked in)
• Noise level: Moderate — festive but not deafening
• Seating: Booths, tables, bar seating, and large group areas
• Vegetarian options: Yes – veggie tacos, sides, and salads
• Dietary restrictions: Limited labeling on menu—ask staff for help
• Parking: Free lot available, fills up quickly on weekends
• Kid-friendly? Yes, but best for older kids who can enjoy a lively space
• Wheelchair accessible? Yes

Food & Drink Breakdown:

Tacos ($4–5 each)
✔️ Always the safest bet. Fluffy tortillas, fresh toppings, and consistently solid flavor.

Queso Fundido with Shrimp & Chorizo ($12.99)
✔️ Rich, melty, shareable — it’s a repeat order.

Birria Ramen ($13.50)
❓Not mine, but I tried it. Good enough to say we did — not enough to chase again.

Carne en Su Jugo ($15.75)
Hearty, comforting, and packed with steak, bacon, beans, and nopales. Worth trying if you like stew vibes.

Pork Belly Guac (Market Price)
Heavy. Fun to try, but you’ll want hot sauce or tortillas to cut the fat.
Pro Tip: Sub a pork belly taco + side of guac if you’re solo or just curious.

Burrito Plate (~$13–$15)
A skip. Too much lettuce, underseasoned rice — doesn’t live up to the tacos.

Spicy Mango Cocktail ($12)
This one hits. Not too sweet, nice heat, and dangerously drinkable. Pricey, but worth it.

The Vibe:

Loud lights, louder drinks, and a robot that brings alcohol to your table.
You tap the screen to send it away. Pure spectacle — but fun.
Ideal for:
Casual birthdays
‍♀️ Girls’ night
Pre-game eats
Watching the game with tacos

Service Notes:
• Staff was kind, quick, and on top of things.
• Prices reflect cash payment (there’s a card upcharge).
• No free chip/salsa refills — plan your order accordingly.
• That robot? Just for drinks — don’t expect your food to follow.

Final Take:

Fronteras isn’t trying to be deep — it’s trying to be a good time.
Stick to tacos, queso, and cocktails, and you’ll probably leave happy.
Over-order, or start getting too “experimental,” and the hit-or-miss shows.

✅ Good for fun nights out
✅ Better with a small group
✅ Even better with cash in hand

Save this if you like vibrant spots with good tacos and wild drinks

Really enjoyed the robot serving the drinks! Wasn’t greeted with a smile upon entering, waitress was very sweet but didn’t visit our table often and we wanted some hot sauce. Food was okay but there was nothing that made me want to go back to Fronteras.

I absolutely love this place! They have a huge selection of dishes. Not just Mexican food. They now have a super cute robot that delivers beverages to the tables! It’s pretty cool to see. The service was amazing and the food was made quickly and tasted delicious! The Texas Dip is one of my favorites and I am so glad they have it on the menu. We tried the Mexican street corn, birria tacos, and nachos. You get your moneys worth eating here. I definitely recommend and will be back again and again!

This is our favorite local place for a date night or meeting friends for happy hour margs and chips. They have a large Hispanic menu. We love the street tacos and house margaritas! The outside atmosphere is very good when the weather cooperates. Great view to watch crashes on E. Broad St. The inside can be a little noisy… especially during peak times for family dining.

This place used to be my favorite but has very quickly gone downhill. Service is awful. My order was wrong and the waitress tried to argue with me about what I ordered instead of just correcting the bill. We ordered 6 tacos (2 for me and 4 for my wife). The receipt charged for 7 and the kinds we got were wrong which meant the charge was higher. We originally asked for the extra taco we didn’t order to be taken off, but since the waitress didn’t understand, she told us we had to give all our tacos back. So we did. Because they were all in a box ready to go home so we could attempt to make them edible. I was completely fine with paying for what I actually ordered until the waitress asked for it back. She then came back with the receipt and still tried to charge us for two tacos even though we just gave her our whole Togo box with the tacos.
The food was actually not good either but we were going to move past that until the waitress gave us a hard time about the bill.
They then sent who I assume was a manager over who spent at least 3-4 minutes with us arguing about how many tacos we ate and that the kitchen would have only sent out what was on the ticket. Which was also incorrect. When we got our plates, we each had 3 (6 tacos) but they were wrong and one of us ordered 2 and the other 4 so its wrong from the jump. I’ve honestly never had a manager try to argue with and accuse me of lying before, stating he would “check the cameras”. I truly hope he does check the cameras so he can see how wrong him and his waitress were.

Complimentary Chips and Salsa, but the Salsa tasted like Paste Picante Sauce. Totally unimpressed.
Had Tacos, they ranks 8 of 10

Service was great and beer was cold (great selection of draft beer ). Price IS reasonable.
