We both got broccoli cheddar soups.
I got the meatball sub and her the sweet heat.
Honestly my favorite soup in sandwich in Chicago
I walk in and didn’t wait for my meal long at all and I can’t wait to visit Chicago again to eat here
The prices on menu items, specifically sandwhiches, have continued to increase without a proportional increase in quality or serving sizes. A “regular sized” sandwhich will set you back almost twelve dollars. A meal will put you well within the $15 to $18 range. This isn’t a competitive value, when compared to other sandwhich shops in the city. At this price point, Portillos is not only better, but has a comparable, if not better sit-in experiene.
Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, this Potbelly does not have an accessible entrance. One must use the revolving door to enter, since the front door is currently being obstructed by construction and the side door is locked from the outside during business hours, for some unknown reason. This is not only unfortunate, but also creates an unnecessary boundary between Potbelly and customers who may require an accessible entrance; in other words, it’s not only hurting the Potbelly brand, but its bottom dollar as well.
Lunch hour in downtown Chicago, which means it is super busy. You could never tell that they were stressed and or worried. They were all very happy to be at work and you felt it in the environment. I recommend the stay of who was here at the time I was here as well, as those mentioned, be given a raise and acknowledgment
I had the mama’s meatball sandwich and some other snacks too. Was ok but my expectations were way higher than I got. Will give it another try next time
