I’m staying at the Dolphin Sands Hotel so Canbana’s Coastal Grill is very convenient. It also happens to be very delicious! I’ve eaten there 4 times already . Everything was delicious, especially the Coconut Crusted grouper and coconut shrimp. The macaroni and cheese is THE best!!! Salad, potatoes, bread all yummy too. Good, quick service, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here! The crab cake was listed at market price and came out to $25 — a bit on the expensive side, but the taste was decent. The French fries were awesome: crisp, well‑seasoned, and perfectly done. I also had a piña colada that really hit the spot and the restaurant had a nice ambience with a cute bar in the center. The place was clean, including the restrooms, which I appreciated.

Our waiter even brought out a complimentary bun and butter — super soft and surprisingly delicious. Overall, I’d still recommend visiting this restaurant!

I must begin by saying the bread and butter is fantastic! Our server, Alicia, hyped them up and she wasn’t lying! I also was surprised by how much I liked the boom boom shrimp. Very good. The seasoned French fries were good as well as the Cajun chicken. The chicken wasn’t spicy which is appreciated. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes was very disappointing. They just seemed thin and kind of watery. I also wish their was an option to separate the mixed vegetables into those you want and don’t want. If you visit, be sure to check out the prosthetic tail from Winter that Dolphin! It’s in the hotel lobby.

Was staying at the Dolphin Sands Hotel connected to this restaurant. Decided to eat dinner here one night around 7ish. The place was pretty busy and this restaurant is also pretty small with about 6 booths and maybe 2 tables plus a bar area. Our servers name was Tia and she was very attentive to us and very clear and loud. It felt that this restaurant was a little unorganized and frantic. But this was the best meal I had my whole trip down to Tampa. I got the shrimp pasta and my mom got the salmon and it was DEVINE! The following night we came down again just to sit at the bar and our bartender was Alexx. And she was also very attentive and interactive with the customers at the bar as well as constantly staying busy. We loved watching her just do side tasks during her shift lol. But overall very good and am thinking about my meal still a week later!!!

Fantastic… all around! Our server was Candis and she went over the top to provide us an amazing dining experience. All dinners were phenomenal (fried grouper, herb garlic shrimp over linguini, BBQ bacon cheddar burger and grilled chicken/bacon/herb mayo sandwich) … best meals we’ve had in Clearwater! We enjoyed the outdoor seating area and we will definitely be back to visit Candis and the amazing crew there!

What great meals and service we had at this restaurant tonight! Tia absolutely understood the assignment and delivered excellent service to our group! We got the ribeye which was cooked in season to perfection, Caesar salad, with delicious blackened salmon, grouper tacos that might be one of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had and tasty wings. I highly recommend it!

First experience dining at Cabana’s Coastal Grill and was definitely impressed!!! We were sat immediately which was nice!! Inside is very refreshing with the decor, music selection & very nice temperature with the A/C. Our server, Alicia was excellent in making sure everything was brought out efficiently and made sure our experience was great!!! Drinks were amazing with flavor and presentation!!! Food was brought out quickly and also had excellent flavor along with generous portions!!! Definitely will be back again to sample more menu items!!! Kudos to the bartender and also the kitchen staff for amazing culinary skills!!!

This place is a must if you are in Clearwater Beach! The food is excellent!!! It was served very quick. The biggest plus here is the server, Tia!! She made the experience here amazing!! We had dinner and came back in the morning for breakfast, and to say hello to Tia! It seems she loves her job, is great at it and she loves the customers.

Candis was absolutely amazing! She made our beach experience so much better and truly went above and beyond. She was always attentive and made sure we had plenty of water and drinks, checking in at just the right times without ever being intrusive.
She also did a great job helping us time our food orders so we could fully relax and enjoy our day at the beach. Candis was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional, and you can tell she genuinely cares about giving guests a great experience.
Her positive attitude and excellent service really stood out and added so much to our vacation. We’re so grateful for her and hope to see her again on our next visit!

My boyfriend and I visited the first week of March 2026. Our time at this hotel with their on-site dining and bar service was truly outstanding. The drinks and food were awesome, but our service was even better! More specifically, our beachside server Candis really made our trip special. She was so bubbly, relatable, and thorough. With every drink and food item we ordered, she always went above and beyond to explain additional offerings that would enhance the food (like sauces, whipped cream, etc). She brought us ice water every time without us asking, served us in a very timely manner, and always made sure we were beyond taken care of before the beachside service came to an end at 4:15 PM. She was so pleasant to talk to and always made sure my boyfriend and I were taken care of every day of our stay. She even went out of her way to ask me one morning where we were seated on the beach so that she could ensure we had service. I can’t imagine it gets any better than that! It’s more than clear how much Candis cares about her customers and her sunny personality really shines through. It’s also evident that she loves what she does and always has the experience of the customer at the top of her priorities. Candis, thank you so much for everything you did for us! You made our trip so special and we are really grateful for that.
