There are wonderful views here of the river. This place is very beautiful inside and out. The service was very pleasant and we got our food relatively fast. I ordered the ribeye steak and it came exactly cooked as I ordered. It was honestly some pretty good steak but for the price it was a little spendy. They kept my glass full 24/7 which was also nice. Overall a nice place to eat out more for the experience and less for the food.

✨ Greg’s Grill, Bend OR – absolutely nailed it today. I’m SHOCKED to see 3.8 on google.

We popped in for a cozy holiday lunch and I’m telling you right now… that bacon cheeseburger was exceptional. Like… one of the best I’ve had in Bend. Kris got the elk burger and wouldn’t shut up about how good it was, so that tells you everything.

The holiday decor is gorgeous, the vibes are warm, and the service? Next level.

Huge, deserved shoutout to our server ANDRE.
Truly the best service I’ve had anywhere in a long time- attentive, kind, on top of everything without hovering. He made the whole experience feel elevated.

If you’re looking for a festive spot with legitimately amazing food and standout hospitality, Greg’s Grill is it.

A truly succulent prime rib, cooked to perfection. Tender, juicy, and oh-so-easy to cut. Every bite felt like a celebration of meat mastery, except for a little too frequent occurrences of the fatty bits.

The potato? A little underwhelming. It had all the toppings but still screamed for some sour cream.

The sauces though… Scrumptious!

Service was spot on—attentive, friendly, and quick to keep the glasses filled. The atmosphere was good but a bit too open. We were lucky enough to snag a good view. Otherwise, it can feel like a diner experience with fine-dining prices.

Overall, great service, solid dish. Only sorry questioning if the bill was worth the sale.

Great service. Very accommodating of food substitutions/additions. Definitely need to bring back key lime pie to their dessert menu, but the carrot cake is a lovely replacement.

Beautiful spot to eat in the old mill, great views. Our waitress was kind but was off with customer service, I was told I could not substitute fries for anything, so I had to order a separate salad. It was not busy for a Friday night, and when we left, there were several servers and hostess standing around a table talking and eating food it seemed unprofessional. The food was mediocre, starting with calamari (a bit undercooked) for our meals.we had fish and chips very greasy, sitting in a puddle of oil and not a lot of taste to it. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly but needed some seasonings. Ribs were just ok. I was disappointed that the menu I researched online prior to going was not the menu they had available. There are so many amazing food options in bend that we will try out next time.

I had an excellent gluten-friendly chef meal while enjoying their fun view and rustic-chic ambiance while taking a short vacay. Haven’t been here since pre-Covid and I was pleased that the food was still top-notch. I asked them to have the chef make their special Chicken Carbonara meal gluten-free by sub-ing their cabbage noodles and it was superb. The sauce was creamy and flavorful (no flour), the chicken was cooked perfectly and they didn’t scrimp on the crispy bacon. The side Caesar salad was crisp and dressed in balance – enough dressing to enjoy the delightful flavor but not smothered in it.

The service was amazing! They were all so very nice. We got a Ceasar salad, bow tie pasta and sandwich. All very good!

My wife and I stopped here on our way home to Seattle. We got great service from Esme and Jason.

I ordered the Mushroom Carbonara and my wife got the Sunset Salmon Salmon. Both dishes were delicious. The Mushroom Carbonara was interesting in that instead of noodles it had finely sliced cooked cabbage. I took the leftovers home!

Esme was BUSY but did not leave us unattended and was helpful in picking out dishes to try since this was our first time here. Near the end of the night Jason stopped by and shared some fascinating history of the area including the conversion of the powerplant.

The restaurant was nicely appointed, has a great view of the Deschutes River, and has nice outside dining.

The building, location, food and service all came together to make it difficult to try another restaurant next time.

The atmosphere is wonderful and our server was great! The only thing is that the food was lackluster for the price. Portions were big though! My shredded veggies were way over-salted and the prime rib(easter special) wasn’t seared which made it less appetizing. I feel as though the quality of the food doesn’t match how nice the atmosphere is and how good the service is. So you come in with high expectations and might be a little bit disappointed. A lot of gluten free and vegetarian options, but not as many dairy free options.
A cool aspect was that they had little electronic drawing pads instead of paper and crayons. I would hardly consider it a screen and my toddler was pretty happy with it.
