I was working in the Naples area and wanted to meet up with a friend from Fort Myers. Looking for a good spot halfway between us, I found Ruth’s Chris offering a special 3-course meal for $55. It turned out to be the perfect choice! The food, service, atmosphere, and of course the company were all fantastic. The maitre d’ and several staff members checked on us multiple times, making sure everything was perfect and even inviting us back. I truly enjoyed my experience, and I’m confident you will too.

This was a disappointing experience. The only bright spot of our visit was our server. The rib-eye that I got was way over cooked. Asked for medium rare, and it came out borderline well done. My fiance and I got lobster mac and cheese as a side, which was pretty flavorful and quite nice. However, on my second bite, I bit into a piece of what I can only assume was lobster shell. We’re not ones to complain as the food tasted okay, but for spending 400$ on a table for two, I would expect more than just okay. Also, the side plates that they brought were dirty, and the server grabbed them and switched them quickly. For such a “high-end” place, that should never happen.

This was my first time dining at Ruth’s Chris, and it definitely will not be the last! We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff were very attentive and kind the entire time. The appetizer was calamari, I think this is some of the best I’ve had. The entree with steak was cooked to perfection, and the lobster was fantastic (my favorite part). When they brought it the dessert, they personalized it for our occasion too – so sweet! I can’t wait to come back again 🙂

We stopped by Ruth’s Chris to celebrate a “late” Valentine’s Dinner on Monday 2/16/26. Luckily there were two seats at the Bar and 45 minutes of Happy Hour left! Chanel was the Bartender and our Server and did a great job pouring some great “Dirty Goose” Martinis, as well as recommending apps, entrees and wine. The consistent quality, great food, atmosphere and service makes Ruth’s Chris a favorite of mine here in Bonita Springs….

We have been to Ruth’s Chris several times. It has always been great.
Tonight was quite different. Our server Clad was great. The quality of the filet was not good! Far different from past experiences. Obviously the upward pressure on prices has probably forced them to go to a lower quality of beef. Not nearly as good as it has been in the past. The mashed potatoes were quit obviously not real. Yuck! The creamed spinach tasted as though it came from a can.
We will NOT BE BACK!
Save yourself a few hundred dollars. Don’t bother to go there unless you want to pay much for a poor quality meal.

We are in town for our honeymoon and were searching for a high-end experience. Tonight, we chose Ruth’s Chris Steak House and there is no doubt that it was the perfect choice! Our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Terry was our waiter and not only was he wonderfully kind and welcoming, but also extremely knowledgeable about the cooking process of our steaks, down to exactly what makes U.S. Prime different from other cuts. Every bite of our meal was magical, and knowing of our special occasion, Terry even treated us with a complimentary dessert at the end that was to die for. This was a dinner we will never forget, and a restaurant we plan to visit year after year to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

For the last 10 years there has been a steady decline at Ruth’s Chris. This is not the same Steakhouse experience it used to be. The Dirty Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was a 10. Their Steak options are still very good and the béarnaise exceptional although the medium rare strip steak had a center that was still ice cold. The Caesar salad was subpar. The sides were solid and then when you’re hit with the check, it all becomes clear… you do not get what you pay for. As mentioned in another recent review, the 400% mark up on the likes of J. Lohr and DAOU is overreacting. Fact: a 9oz pour of DAOU is $30!
