Excellent Mexican food. I particularly like the red sauce. It has some heat and is a great balance of chillis and black pepper. I also love epizote! when there a hint of that it’s an auto 5⭐

My friend had a chicken burrito. He says, “the chicken is cooked perfectly, still moist.” I asked how the flavor and spice was. He said, “it is an explosion in your mouth. Delicious.”

We had the lunch carne asada and the portion size was perfect. The flavor of their marinade is excellent. And the steak was cooked perfectly.

My other friend with the steal bowl got the mochalate which he loved. It’s a pepper, onion, chorizo, and meat combo topped with cotija cheese. He loved it.

Hospitably-humble and grateful employees. Inviting, clean, and peaceful interior ambience. Fresh, tasty, timely-delivered, fairly-priced; food and drinks. We will definitely revisit if we’re in the area and craving Mexican Cuisine. ☺️

Wow! Their burritos are just phenomenal, the beef is delicious and their lettuce and tomatoes are incredibly fresh and compliment the beef and tortilla really well. I recommend coming, it’s one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area.

Okay we went here twice for lunch and the second time around it was amazing! Food was great! Tell me why they gonna add additional tips to my credit card after we left a cash tip on table. It wasn’t a small tip like I usually do it was $20. Our bill was $88. They want to add additional $10 more. Hell no.

This is a great Mexican restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, featuring both booth and counter seating. Additionally, there is a bar area with counter seating, an excellent selection of cocktails, and red and white wines. The ambiance is suitable for couples, families with children, and individuals dining alone.

We ordered chicken fajitas and carnitas de pollo, and both dishes were delicious. The flan was particularly enjoyable and large enough to share. The restaurant offers wheelchair-accessible parking, seating, and restrooms. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

My boyfriend would always tell me that he thinks this is the restaurant that introduced him to Mexican food for the first time and where he fell in love with Mexican food. We were in the area and were feeling hungry so we decided to stop by. The parking was pretty packed but had a spot or two so we were able to secure a spot. Once we entered, there was a sign that you could clearly see that said wait to be seated and it wasn’t long until someone came by. We were greeted by a female hostess who smiled and professionally lead us to a booth to sit at for dinner. The menu was pretty extensive but not overwhelming as they had their alcohol drinks separate from their menu. A male server stopped by with some chips and salsa which I think is now fighting for best house made salsa that I’ve had in Washington. We ordered the combination dinner, I got mine with the tamale and tostada with chicken while my boyfriend got the chimichanga. We got another refill of chips which were not too salty and the perfect size to get a good chunk of salsa. We eventually had two waiters who was a young gentleman and an older gentleman but they were both so courteous and friendly.

This was also probably the fastest we’ve gotten our food at a Mexican restaurant as it arrived maybe 8-10 minutes after we placed our order. The plates arrived nice and hot with the food portions being huge and the presentation was lovely! I wasn’t a huge fan of the chicken as it felt more on the dry side for me but I also just don’t like white meat and my boyfriend said it wasn’t dry at all. I did love the amount of toppings on the tostada as it was stacked high with fresh ingredients on a bed of refried beans which was seasoned perfectly. The tamale was also absolutely delicious and I have had many tamales and I can say this tamale is immaculate. My boyfriend’s chimichanga was delicious too from the bite I had and how he cleaned his plate. I can vouch that this place is authentic (dated a Mexican guy and their family spoiled me with amazing food and parties) and my boyfriend agrees that this spot is the perfect place for amazing Mexican food for those who are wanting to try or are hesitant. The staff here are super friendly and professional, they will even pack up your food! It just felt like going to a friend’s to enjoy amazing vibes, fantastic food, and a overall good time. Definitely want to come back to try more dishes and drinks.

We’ve been to several Mexican restaurants in the last few years, and most are OK with the standard fare. Today, we decided to try out Tonala’s as we’ve driven past it and wanted to do so.

They had plenty of parking and seating. Of course, we were there in the mid-afternoon, between the lunch and dinner times.

The staff is friendly and efficient. The menu is fairly large and the prices reasonable. You could almost make a dinner out of the appetizers. We had the Super Nachos to start out with, and for dinner (three people), we ordered Enchiladas, a Burrito Supremo, and I went for the Taquitos Rancheros. The burrito as huge, and we had leftovers of most of the dishes. You can easily get two full meals, unless you’re very hungry.

Since it was my Sister-In-Law’s birthday, they brought out a special sopapilla dessert and sang Happy Birthday to her. We also brought home an order of Flan for later.

The dinner is some of the best Mexican food we’ve had, despite finding other good restaurants in the area. The atmosphere, along with excellent and plentiful food put it over the top.

For those of you that are military, veterans, or retired, show your ID card and you get a discount. There is also a Senior menu as well, but we wanted the full thing.
