Jil was fantastic. She was one of the nicest wait staff we have seen in a while. A lot of times when you go out to eat you see a lot of fake wait staff, I didn’t notice that with her. She knew her menu very well, checked in with us, never left my soda cup empty and was genuinely nice. Hopefully this review will give her some brownie points for her great service. Augusta dosent have a Friendly’s anymore so we were excited to come here on our vacation. Prices are very reasonable, probably too reasonable, but I’m not complaining. Lots of choices on the menu, for vegetarians and for those with a healthy eating lifestyle as well. Friendly’s always had the best ice cream, it was such a nice treat to get a chance to have it again. The restaurant was very clean and organized including the bathroom. Parking here is good, plenty of space, it’s wheelchair friendly, plenty of booths and tables you can navigate around. At the entrance they have a vending machine game you can try winning stuff out of but it seemed to be broken but still a cool feature that kids would love had it been working. They accept debit/credit and cash, no ATM. My husband got a chop steak with nachos sandwich, it was a new feature, it was a little spicy but he enjoyed it. I got a tuna melt with extra cheese, small clam chowder and small salad. The salad wasn’t necessarily filling but the clay chowder and sandwich was very good. The tuna wasn’t dry and I liked how you have tomatoes in it. We of course got ice cream and was as good as I remembered it to be. The diet soda wasn’t flat and was fresh. My only nit picks is it was extremely cold inside the restaurant, they should crank up the heat a little bit, they don’t have napkins on the tables, I hate asking wait staff for things and bothering them for things I shouldn’t have to. Ice cream took a bit to come out but it wasn’t our waitress who was making it. Whoever behind the scenes that was making it, took a while, so not our waitress fault. However, we loved coming here and will be back.

I’ve been to many friendlys, and this one did not live up to expectations. I went out to dinner with my family expecting a nice nostalgic atmosphere.
My waitress had a major attitude, the food looked like it was just thrown on the plate, the chicken tenders were cold and dry, and the fried pickles were soggy. I won’t be coming back to this location

First let me say, Coming here is a blast from the past for us cus we worked at the one in ellsworth as kids so it was going to be a fun quick lunch before having to be somewhere . First off,The bathroom was gross , and not be cus someone had an accident, the sinks had a white and green rusty cracked mess all over the one, the paper towel dispenser was sticky and dirty and all in alm just needs to be fixed up .
Second, there was one server at 3pm on a friday the day before valentines, he seemed overwhelmed and had 8 tables including us. Do better . Food was sub par and the experience was lacking and its sad who ever owns this restaurant should think about remodeling some things and teaching ur management how to schedule and if ur short staffed maybe management needs to be serving tables. Idk Brandon was our server and he clearly was doing his best but had little to no help other then a lady who brought out 6 ice creams to the big table and she felt the need to state she was bringing his ice cream out to his table, like good ok shut up and do it then . Im sorry I was a server ,bartender , MANGER For 25 years its all I know and im in retail services now and I understand bad days and being short staffed but you guys need to step up being the last friendlys around . Also bring back the oriental chicken wrap.

Used to go to Friendly’s as a child when they were operating in the Midwest. Went to this location while on vacation. Can definitely say the quality of this chain has plummeted since I’ve been to a Friendly’s. The ice cream provided to us was only half as much as what is pictured on the menu. Manager (who made the ice cream) was very rude and unwilling to correct.

Absolutely ridiculous!!! This is why most friendly are gone out of business. I’m assuming. We waited in the lobby for more than five minutes with employees walking by the counter and not even acknowledging we were there. We finally got our order in and then they bring us ice creams with the $3.99. Ice cream was a small scoop that I could’ve bought twice as much for at Fielder’s choice when I asked the lady why just one small scoop she said that’s all it comes with. So disappointing! Lady serving at the counter was so rude!

First time we went to Friendly’s was a few years ago and we loved it. Our server was awesome, desserts were huge and we always wanted to go back. The one we use to go to looks like it’s gone, but we were in the area to give this one a try.
It wasn’t really the same. It seemed like all the guests were herded to one strip of the restaurant (normally you get a bit spaced out). Our server, well, she was not super friendly. She was the only one there doing the serving, buying tables etc. So I figured it was a busy morning.
We started with the Fried Pickle chips. These were alright, because I love pickles. But not as good as other places I’ve been to.
We also just got the Munchie Mania starter. This starter you choose 3 of the following: fries, cheeseburger sliders, onion rings, loaded waffle fries, chicken tenders, chicken quesadilla, friend pickle chips or mozza sticks.
We fit the chicken tenders, landed waffle fries and the cheeseburger sliders. ( We should have been smart and saved pickle chips to put on the sliders. They were a tad bland with just the meat and cheese. The burger was also giving cheap frozen patty texture. The chicken strips and the waffle fries were both really good.
Unfortunately with all the driving this trip, I could only have a small taste of the ice cream.
I think it was from the summer menu, called the sugar cone nacho. So ice cream, whip cream, banana, strawberries, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, pieces of waffle cone…it was pretty tasty. Probably the star of the meal. Lol.
If I were to go back, I think it would be for dessert only.

I just moved to the area & The Friendly’s that was close to where I previously was closed down so I was excited to have found one in my new area. Ordered takeout on the app …. Service was great & quick, food was good … just as I remembered and expected !! Will def be going back … frequently !!
