Reviews
We did the 5-course meal, and every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. My absolute favorite was the ceviche—so fresh and perfectly balanced.
The whole night just felt elevated and memorable. Amazing food, thoughtful service, and the perfect place for a special occasion. Definitely 5 stars!
Our server Juan made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, and provided great service throughout the meal.
Highly recommend Jarana if you’re at American Dream.
Had the aji de gallina croquettes and chicken skewers as appetizers. Both fantastic especially the skewers, which reminded me of the best Puerto Rican pinchos de pollo. For entrees we had the signature roast chicken, Milanese chicken with corn and cheese sauce and the chaufa with fried chicken. The fried rice (chaufa) was excellent. The roast chicken does not compare to other pollo ala brasas in the area and was dry, and the other 2 dishes were above average. Had the chicha and maracuya sours for drinks. Both decent. Service was not great and inattentive, needing to ask for drinks multiple times and the entrees not coming out together. Despite all this it looked like an exciting menu with interesting takes on Peruvian classics. Would come again.
My wife and I wanted to try something different so we decided to have Peruvian food.
I have been to Peru several times so I kind of know the Menu.
The food was good but very small portions for the rather high prices. But I guess the rent in that mall must be$$$$$.
Service was terrible.
The waiter never checks back on the table between coarse.
We waited over 20 minutes to recieve are check.
Let’s just say they were not customer focused.
We spent $258.00 with tip .
Only 2 glasses of wine.
My shrimp dinner alone was $55.00 for 8 shrimp.
Was Peruvian ,yea.
But not like Peru.

The waiters truly elevate the experience. They are attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu, always happy to make recommendations and ensure everything is perfect. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome.
If you’re looking for amazing Peruvian food paired with warm, professional service, Jarana is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Hector, our waiter, was outstanding. He was attentive, personable, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations that we genuinely enjoyed. His service elevated the entire evening. Overall, this is a restaurant we confidently recommend for memorable celebrations and quality Peruvian cuisine.
I’ve been there several times, and while I still love it, I’ve noticed the portions have gotten smaller lately.
They used to include sweet plantains with the dish, but not anymore. Still, I totally recommend it!
