We were greeted with a friendly smile entering the restaurant. The aroma of the entree varieties was wonderful.
The waitress was fast to the table to acquire what we wanted for our drinks. Their hot tea was great. The choices on food are fantastic. Some of the choices are Salmon, shrimp, scallops, pork, chicken, beef, pepper steak, stuffed or sauted mushrooms, dumplings and egg rolls. Many choices on veggies. Sushi too! Many other choices too! Everything tasted great!! This buffett is very reasonably priced for all the variety of food options. WE DEFINEATLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

My wife and I go throughout the week, rarely on weekends. Times are usually around 1pm to 5pm, so after lunch and before dinner, yet the food is still hot and good. Not often after 6pm, when it’s busier, but the restaurant is huge so there are plenty of places to sit and the buffet area has around six long double sided tables full of steaming trays, so there’s enough room for everyone to saddle up and get their food. The staff are courteous, professional and helpful. They NEVER let my soda go all the way down before they’re coming to refill it! There are always so many people to help, so you never wait for anything. They’re always tending to the buffet, replenishing as needed and keeping it clean. The sushi is freshly made, with a diverse selection of everyone’s favorites. It’s not as good as at a Japanese restaurant, but it’s excellent for Chinese buffet sushi. 🙂 There are a lot of Western style dishes for folks in your party that don’t care for Asian selections, like stuffed mushrooms, whole salmon, pan fried potatoes, ribs (they have traditional BBQ sauce on them with a touch of Asian flare), fried chicken, fried shrimp, wings, etc. and then every kind of traditional Chinese American style buffet offerings like sesame chicken, honey chicken, pepper chicken, Mongolian beef, General Tso’s, pepper beef, fried rice, lo mein noodles, soups, teriyaki chicken skewers, sweet and sour chicken, dumplings, etc. There are salads, desserts and a little soft serve ice cream sundae bar. It’s busy enough at any time of day here, even in the winter, that the food is pretty fresh. When we go at off hours like 3pm, some things have been sitting, but it’s completely understandable. If you like sesame balls (mochi with bean filling), they are only served at lunch. The almond cookies at the end of the fruit and jello salad bar are a MUST. The other desserts are the usual tiny cakes, pudding, etc. It’s a great atmosphere, large place with a couple of tv’s. Family atmosphere, very affordable as of this writing, about $15 a person. They also have a full menu for eating in or to go. It’s an absolute must if you love Chinese food and are in the area.

My family loves coming here. Tons of food options and everything tastes pretty good. Kids love being able to pick whatever they want and have multiple desserts! Also, our bill for a family of 4 was cheaper than we expected!

Drove from standish to try this place because it had good reviews. Was not disappointed. Arrived around 2pm which isn’t really a good time of the day for a buffet, but found the food to be fresh and plentiful. Great selection on the buffet, as well as desserts. They even had ice cream with toppings available. If you’re passing through and are hungry, give this place a visit.

Normally Chinese Buffets are grouped as sub par steam table food. We have been coming to East Tawas for over 20 years for the craft shows and always drove by this place.

Sunday we drove our bikes and decided to stop by for lunch. Upon entering. You are quickly greeted and seated. The buffet set up is actually pretty cool in the front center of the restaurant. It’s clean all the way around. We were a party of nine seated in the back. Our waitress was super kind. Language barrier is evident. But not impossible. She was very good.

Onto the food. I didn’t have ONE thing here that I did not like. From the pepper steak to the generals chicken. And I was delighted to see make your own won ton soup. I ate my fill. From the crab ragoons to the different dishes we ate plenty. And the price was very reasonable. Everything was hot. Fresh constantly and the place was full of happy people. We will be back ! !
