This place is definitely a hole in the wall that serves food packed with flavor!! The owners son helped us out and he made some delicious recommendations!! I had Tacos a mano, one chorizo and one house taco ( I can’t remember what he called it) with a Carne Asada Sope. Their house taco included nopales, which I love, along with meat and melted cheese, it was delicious!! My daughter had a Gordita and my son in law had nachos, everything was delicious!!
Service was fantastic!! I love being surprised by good food and good service!! Can we talk about how cute it’s decorated!!! I love the Loteria cards on the restrooms and everything else was on point!
If you’re in Chicago, I highly recommend coming here to eat. You’ll receive genuine hospitality and delicious food.

Food is so good here and the owner goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. My first time there with my dad, they brought us out a complimentary dessert. We were just there chit chatting over amazing food. Definitely recommend!!!

The atmosphere is welcoming with the Owner Imelda who is such an Amazing person. I came to see my son graduate from Navy bootcamp. We got to talking & I asked if they made homemade tortillas. She said the food is homemade, and once she heard my son likes tortillas. She told me she was going to get some for him to eat and to give them a couple of minutes. I know I’m leaving a review, but this doesn’t even come close to how much I appreciated what she did.
I got the Nachos with steak and it was so good that I ate it all. I’m a petite chic but I enjoyed the food so much. It was on point with flavor.
Boyfriend got the Steak Quesadillas and he said he never had anything as good as that. He was impressed with the homemade tortillas, how it didn’t need any salt. That it was good as is.
Portions were more than enough, and like I said it was so good that we finished it all.

I went here while I was in town visiting family, and it was amazing! All of the tacos we tried were incredible—the shrimp, steak, and chorizo tacos were so good. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town. I also tried the quesabirrias, which I had never had before, but I will definitely be ordering them again. And to top it all off, the margaritas were great too!

We are here on a Saturday afternoon and everyone is in great spirits :). The service is amazing and the owner is very personable, kind, and attentive! This feels like the kind of place that feels familiar to the community and I hope you give them a chance to serve some delicious food! The fish tacos and home made tortilla chips were my favorite. Everything is fresher than fresh. I will be back :).

This was our first time here and giving it 5 stars isn’t enough! The food was absolutely amazing, their homemade corn tortillas are fantastic! Everything we ordered was great! The service was impeccable and it’s an adorable restaurant. Clean and the staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Not only will we for sure be back but we are definitely going to have a party and have them cater it. Thank you for one of our favorite dining experiences ever!!!

Upon arrival, we found ample parking across the street. Based on the signage, it appeared to be a fairly new restaurant. We headed inside to find a small, homey, sit-in diner type experience.
We were seated promptly and taken care of by our friendly waiter. The menu had a wide variety of authentic Mexican food options with reasonable prices. The food was delicious…so much so that my teenage daughter insisted that we leave a review. There you have it, this place is teenager approved! I loved it, as well. It’s definitely worth checking out.

Fantastic experience! The customer service was immaculate — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. You can truly tell they’re passionate about what they do! Highly recommend if you’re in the area — we’re from out of town, but so glad we stopped in!
