They have over 15 variations of Eggs Benedict, everything from a more traditional style to a lobster eggs Benedict. They can also do the same dozen styles but in an omelet. The 2 of us shared the corned beef eggs Benedict and pancakes short stack.
My favorite must-have is their huge, fluffy buttermilk pancakes with a side of Canadian maple syrup. OMG.
Our 2 pancakes were big enough for the 4 of us to share. One the best.
Great service. But CASH ONLY.
The breakfast was great and very filling! We were satisfied with our choice of entree! We wish we were in town long enough to try some of the other menu items as well! The only downside to this place was that they only accepted cash! Not to many people just carry cash in the times we are living in! This is hurting the business! Especially if you have tourist coming into the city! I would reconsider why you are only taking cash and not allowing people to pay via credit card!
We were seated and immediately asked for coffee with a non-dairy creamer due to a serious dairy allergy. The waiter responded in a dismissive tone, said they did not have any non-dairy option, and made a face. Given the allergy, this was not a trivial request, and the attitude alone set the tone for the meal.
The menu itself is unwelcoming: no substitutions, cash only, and no split checks. That combination feels less like a policy choice and more like hostility toward customers. In 2025, refusing basic accommodations while also limiting payment options is simply not customer-friendly.
As for the food, I ordered a hash with potatoes. The potatoes were passable but the portion was small. The hash itself was served in a separate dish, extremely greasy, and completely lacking in flavor. Nothing about it justified the price.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience from start to finish — poor service, rigid and unfriendly policies, and mediocre food at an inflated cost. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for breakfast.
What’s not to like? Okay, cash only is kind of a downer, but not an end of the world situation. You can’t take large dogs in. But it’s a tight stinging area. I can’t imagine servers being able to get around when the place is packed.
My biggest gripe is no to go orders. They changed this in the last two years, because we would order and enjoy our food from our hotel room. It was worth it.
Anyhow, onto the food. It’s very good and very filling. We enjoyed the Lobster, King Crab and Bay Shrimp Omelet. Otherwise known as the Lance Barrow. It also has Tomatoes and Spinach. The sides were Potatoes and Toast. If the ingredients didn’t get you excited, I’m done. It’s good. My daughter enjoyed the Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Bananas. She enjoyed them thoroughly.
Orange Juice is freshly squeezed. The waitresses are attentive and greet you properly. Fyi – The Eggs Benedict are no joke either.
Suggestion, get there early. Anything after 9 am will probably be a long wait.
