Husband and I went for dinner here and wouldn’t go back. We got pickles that tasted like cucumbers in vinegar so it should be stated that way, our server was annoyed to answer questions and when I wanted fresh hot coffee. We ordered a eclair to go, they are huge but wouldn’t recommend. The pub style dining was nice. Just wouldn’t go back.

I highly recommend this venue for private events. My family had a surprise birthday party for my 80 year old father at this venue and it was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for better service, communication , food, or atmosphere. Our group was about 30 people and the private room was perfect for us. Jackie, the manager, was such a fabulous help while planning and she responded to all my questions with professionalism and patience. From the moment I met with her to pay the deposit, I knew my event was in great hands. Our server, Julie , was excellent and made sure everything was set and guests needs were met. I am so grateful to them for helping my father have a very special and memorable day. Thank you, thank you!

The service was lovely and we were in and out quickly. However, the menu is far too large and the food was mediocre at best. When a menu is this large, it is impossible for every dish to be great. A small menu allows skill growth in chefs, while a large menu causes chaos in the kitchen. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo which arrived cold and under seasoned, as a result of the large menu. Again, it would be beneficial for the menu to be downsized and to choose your best few dishes to serve; making every bite impeccable and a true representation of you.

11/22/23— went here with some friends . It was an ordeal to just get in the parking lot . This places was buzzing with people coming in and out with cakes . It was a revolving door .
We sat at the bar section . They have a few booths there and it was quieter than the other section . Which we liked cause we needed to have an important conversation.
The Bartender took care of us . He did what he could while having people at the bar .
The amount of cakes that people had ordered was Incredible . Don’t part at the ten minute parking spot . One lady got a ticket for overstaying . We came here for lunch time
I ordered the traditional thanksgiving dinner . It was okay . I wouldn’t order it again .
The fish and chips must of have been good cause the other two people in my table ate it all . Anyhow . Happy Thanksgiving

Thier pickles are still wonderful as always but you have to remember to ask for them. Had the fish tacos which were almost $20 and the tortillas were very dry around the edges. The fish in the tacos was not very good. It wasn’t even a nice piece of fish, it was a few little nuggets of fish mostly made up of what would be the thin little tail pieces that get cut off of a fillet. I do not recommend having these tacos at all. Gregg’s deserts are still the best though. The food is pricey and not that good anymore. Very disappointing for such a Rhode Island icon.

I’ve heard good things about this place and was excited to finally try it. This place was all around terrible and we will never be back. The three things you look for in a restaurant all failed. Atmosphere, food and service. It’s dull and vacant looking inside. The food was old tasting and cold. And the cake was inedible because it was so sweet, I had to throw it away. Our waitress was so rude and we didn’t even get one smile. We ordered the cake to go and she replied with “that’s it?” in a nasty way. As I was getting ready to leave she comes over and snatches the check right off the table with a mean smirk. Save yourself a trip and skip this on your list of Rhode Island restaurants to try.

Pretty good restaurant. I was here on a Saturday evening and fortunately got here before 5. It wasn’t very crowded and we got seated right away. But once we were leaving, it was packed! Definitely a popular chain. I had a bowl of tomato soup and a chicken pot pie, along with blueberry cheesecake for dessert. The food was good, but Gregg’s is well known for their desserts. I’d come back again.

Enjoyed the corned beef and cabbage. Very good burger. Crazy oversized cheesy fries appetizer. Tried to get a nut free desert but there were concerns over nut cross contamination. Big shame as the deserts look amazing. Great value for the food we had. Had a new server who did great and brought all food quickly and 100% accurate.
