Part of my recent $350 order included a Chopped Salad Lunch Box for someone with strict gluten and dairy restrictions. When the order arrived, the salad contained blue cheese. Mistakes happen. I completely understand that. That is not the primary issue here.
I called the restaurant directly to resolve it. The first call went to voicemail, asking me to hangup and call right back. I did. I was placed on hold for several minutes before speaking with someone. I explained that the salad contained cheese and that bowls were also missing for the soup.

She asked what an ideal solution would be. I asked what my options were, and she said they could remake the salad and send it out. I agreed and asked how long that would take. She said she needed to check.

A few minutes later, a different employee came on the line and told me she had “confirmed” with the person who made the salad that no cheese was added. I explained that I was literally looking at the salad and could clearly see blue cheese on it. I was then told that it was “impossible” because the employee “confirmed” she never put any cheese on the salad.

The conversation went back and forth, and I was ultimately told that I could email a photo and “if we determine there is cheese on it,” something could be done. I told her I ordered through EZ Cater and was not provided an email address. I was then told she did not know the email address either, but someone might call me back when a manager arrived.

I chose to end the call at that point.

Again, mistakes happen. What was disappointing was being told, in effect, that I was mistaken about what I was seeing in front of me. That response, more than the error itself, is what prompted this message.

I hope this feedback is helpful as you evaluate both order accuracy and customer service training moving forward.

A fun thing I didn’t notice until I was uploading the photos here for the review, and am now adding to the bottom of this review, is that it appears the woman who knew she never put cheese on the salad, also put some of her hair in it. That was a final twist I was not expecting.

Used to love this place. We had some food delivered and these are the parfaits they gave us. This is not a parfait. This is a cup of granola. There’s almost no yogurt and like two berries in there. Honestly how does anyone in their right mind let this go out the door to a customer? Overall the food here is good, but come on with this. You guys should be ashamed of this product.

First time here and I ordered cup of baked potato, half a panini club sandwich, and side of caesar salad. The food here is just medicore, the panini was was ok, the soup was luke warm (hot enough to melt the shredded cheese), and the salad had soggy croutons. If you like medicore food come here.

Ordered a Cream Cheese Brownie online at 1:11pm on 1/5/26 for immediate pickup. I received a notice that it was ready for pickup at 1:26pm. I arrived at 2:30pm and my order still hadn’t been filled. I told an employee I had placed the pickup order online and they asked me to wait. After waiting 20 minutes, another employee asked what I was waiting for. I told him a Cream Cheese Brownie I ordered online from the website. He shook his head, walked to the display case, got the brownie, and gave it to me…all the time acting like I was weird for ordering it online. This is the worst treatment I’ve ever had at a Corner Bakery Cafe. Am I not supposed to place orders online??? The brownie was very tasty, but the service was the worst.

I’m really disappointed with my recent DoorDash order. The grilled cheese arrived with the cheese barely melted, and the presentation was sloppy—I’m honestly surprised it left the kitchen like that. On top of that, I paid extra for the larger serving of tomato soup, but the container was only half full. For the price, I expected much better quality and care. I’d suggest double-checking orders before sending them out to ensure customers receive what they paid for.

I was in need of some food after shopping in the area and really wanted breakfast but didn’t want to sit down. I’ve seen this place for many years but have never gone in, so I decided to order ahead for pickup since I was across the street. It was really quick and the food was very fresh!

I ordered the Anaheim Scrambler without the tomatoes, and it did not disappoint. It was very filling and so fresh! The portion was also a very decent size, I wasn’t able to finish it all. The food was done pretty fast, and I was greeted very nicely when I came in to pick up. I would definitely come again!

I placed an order online and went to pick it up through the drive thru. The drive thru attendant gave me my order – as I received it, I noted to the attendant “are you sure everything is in here, I ordered the sandwiches potatoes and pasta.” The agent then said “I can check for you” – they should have done that to begin with. Then they checked and stated the potatoes were missing and they would add them. I waited and was given the bag again. As I was leaving the drive thru I decided to check on my own and yet again, the second order of potatoes was missing. I had to back up and wait and knock on the window because no one was present or not paying attention. Finally after a minute or two the same agent came back. I let them know that I ordered 2 sides of potatoes and only one was added. They asked me for the receipt that was attached to the bag. I handed it to them.

They came back and said “oh its because they ran out of potatoes thats why they didn’t add any” at this point im very upset. None of this was communicated with me, they had plenty of opportunities to let me know so I could pick something else.

Then the agent said oh you’ll get a refund – i said how? Will you process the refund – the agent said “no its through the app” I was sooo frustrated because there was zero clear communication. I literally had to say “what are you talking about. Walk me through this, if youre not processing the refund then what am I supposed to do” they said “oh you have to go online or the app and request it” I again say “how?” Then the agent says “oh you can call corporate ” – like is this a joke? Such terrible customer service. I left feeling really upset. Your agents need better training.

They have sandwiches, paninis, salads, soups, and pastas conversations. The menu is simple and easy to choose from. I liked the mix and match or choose 2 items combination. I had rge tomato soup and a Pesto sandwich, the flavors were good, and I was not impressed with the soup.
The service was really good, the cashier was patiently waiting for us as it was our first time, they didn’t take long to bring our food, and one of the servers kept the place cleaned.
It is a place for a quick, not expensive bike, and healthy choices for children.

Food showed very little effort in preparation. I ordered a Caesar salad, and most of the leaves were brown and looked like they had been sitting out for a while. I sent it back, and the replacement was just plain lettuce with no dressing. The sandwiches were also disappointing — my panini was cold, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Over priced for the quality of food we got!
