I went here for an anniversary date. The service was excellent. I’d recommend this place if you want real 100% authentic Korean food. The owners are from Korea and have had this place for a long time. I’d say it’s a hole in the wall. They keep things very traditional and make sure you are well fed and taken care of. We went around late lunchtime and there was plenty of seating available.

The food was very fresh and came out super quickly. When it was ready, they brought it out immediately. I felt like a well-taken-care-of guest.

This is a very quaint old restaurant, renovated wood partition, bar,& wall. Atmosphere is gloomy & lacks pizzazz despite the carved wood decor. This place needs a zest in decor & uplift the gastronomic spirit. Food is excellent. We got a package deal of $70 which include kimchisoup, dumplings, veggie & shrimp tempura,Chap Chae, a heap of beef bulgogi, rice, sidedishes in tiny sauce plate of kimchi Chinese cabbage, beansprout, pickled radish, cabbage w mayo, tofu strip. I asked for refill of 3 sidedish w a facial hesitancy from waitress. I know its of no small loss from restaurant w this refill. Tea is amazing. I couldn’t dampen my appetite with a somber atmosphere. This place needs immediate intervention to compete with numerous korean restaurant in Dallas.

I have not been here for over 30 years since I was a young teen, the place has changed since I can recall. That being said I will not be waiting another 30 years to come back. The octopus was great, the main dishes were excellent, very well flavored and vegetarian friendly with many options. My veggie roommate and I will definitely be back, the server was helpful and very kind as well. All in all, go! Now! Don’t wait!

I moved out of Dallas almost a decade ago, but this used to be one of my go-to places if I was on this side of town. And whenever I drive back down to Dallas to pick up some supplies or something I like to stop by here and eat. The food’s good. They’ve gotten a little pricier since the last time I was here, but so has everything else in the world.

Thank you to our host and servers. Jennifer one of the staff there was very kind and sweet with us. They always asked if we were okay or if we needed anything. The food was very delicious, will be coming back.

It seemed unclean. The servers were nice, but the food was awful. It had no flavor. The fish tank was so dirty you could barely see the one fish in it. I had the chicken fried rice, which is hard to mess up. Even after adding soy sauce & pepper it still had no flavor. I ran out of tea & it took forever to get a refill. The prices were high for what you get. Only went because my husband had been there years ago & loved it. I was sick by the time we got down the street. Neither of us will be back and I hate to say that.

Great selection of food. Not consistent, but good. Service could improved, try to rush you out, only one or two other tables in used. Maybe being Christmas day could have been the cause. Do luke they want to compete and make money on Christmas, thank you for that.

I come here every month when I’m in town. Love the food and have always loved the service until today. I always order bulgolgi and chicken bulgolgi. I’ve always gotten the soup with it so when I did that today the soup was an extra $5 for me and $4 for my husband plus they raised prices so just 2 plates, 2 soups and 2 drinks my bill was $85! Why would lunch come with soup and be less than at dinner?? So when I paid with my credit card the older lady came over and looked at the credit card receipt and looked at me and said, that’s not even 10 percent! I then replied, so r u saying I have to tip 10 percent so she points to the suggested tips on it and again I said so does that mean I have to pay 10 percent?? I literally made the receipt to $90 and was going to leave the rest cash but after that I didn’t! I guess now people r demanding higher tips?? I have worked in food service 30 years and waited tables the majority of those years and have never said something like that to a customer!! Absolutely rude and she just got the server less money because she just had to b rude!
