Stopped in while shopping at the mall. Got some sushi for lunch. Our rolls were good and had a good presentation. We also tried the fried jalapeño poppers that had fish eggs and sauce. Those were really good! Our service was great, but there was an ordering mishap. Overall I would come back to try a steak dinner next time.

First time eating here on Valentine’s Day! Was very good! The server was professional and very on top of his job. And the food was phenomenal! I am a sushi lover and steak lover. Everything that was served was definitely worthy of another visit! We were able to walk in and be seated in about 2 or 3 minutes.

I love Japanese food. I always enjoy hibachi restaurants too… some are good, some are just barely ok. I have seen a lot of reviews of Fuji that are not that flattering… but the reviews are often for sushi, which is not really what most hibachi restaurants excel at. If I want sushi, I will go to a sushi specialty restaurant.
Normally the kitchen menus are good (Katsu, Tempura, etc)… but the Hibachi based TeppanYaki is usually the best. So today at Fuji, I ordered the Filet Mignon Hibachi lunch special. Great price… so I figured why not?
Service was very good… I was told that the minimum seating at a hibachi table was two. So I could either wait and see if someone else came in wanting that… or I could order two servings. Lol… hungry but not that hungry. I was also told that hibachi for one is available at the normal table (minus the chefs flinging knives and shrimp around)!
I was seated, brought water… and my waitress was great. Cheerful and helpful without being obtrusive. She gave me an option of either French Onion soup or Miso soup… I went with the Miso. She brought a bowl out shortly and apologized it took so long (it didn’t), stating that since I was the first one in, and they just opened… nothing was ready yet. So everything was made fresh. Miso was good… small cubes of tofu, some nori… and you could taste the hondashi it was made with… delicious. A bit salty, but that does happen…
She brought my plate out and it was very nice to look at, with a great aroma. Nice portion of filet, veggies and fried rice (I chose the rice, instead of noodles). Very tasty, beef was so tender and cooked perfectly medium rare like I asked for. Veggies were crisp and delicious… and the fried rice (yakimeshi) was wonderful!
Highly recommended… and I will need to go back and try dinner at the hibachi tables, and also order from the kitchen menu.
I feel bad, because I started eating, and forgot to take a picture… but here is the plate with 4 or 5 pieces of filet missing! 😉

We got Sushi, spicy beef ramen (pic) and a chicken bento box. It was all absolutely amazing!! Very good food. Friendly staff, will definitely be going back. Drinks were great too!

It was our first time in the restaurant and first time experiencing hibachi. The food is ok, the soup and salad are the best, shrimps were good too, but rice, noodles and vegetables were ok, but I guess you’re getting hibachi more for the show rather than food. And it was definitely an interesting experience!
We tried to do a reservation and called twice, but no one picked up the phone as well as no one got back to us, so we just went to the restaurant, and because we didn’t have a reservation we had to wait for the group that had a reservation, gladly we didn’t wait for long, so we were able to enjoy it. Overall it was a good experience. I’d recommend it if you’ve never tried it before and the portions are good , so you won’t leave hungry and most likely you’ll have a lot of leftovers.

Food came out hot and fresh… prices not bad at all…. Date night for Hubbt & I and dinner was only $75 bucks with tip….. It’s a little more pricey if you have dinner at the grill tables…… Nice selection on their menu. We order 4 different appetizers, side of fried rice & Fuji house special roll this way we got to try different things at once without breaking the bank!!!! (Or having way to much food)

Food is okay but, if you want to do takeout order over the phone. You need to speak up loud like yelling! They can’t hear you or person who wants to order. Annoys me so much every time I want to do takeout. I asked them if there is quite place for them to take an order. She said no! Ridiculous! That’s why I gave 3 stars!
