First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. Whether you start at the crack of dawn or not, we’ll leave that up to you!

This location is one of the best I’ve been so far and I’ve been to many locations. The service is always excellent. I have yet to experience a long wait whether that be seating or food. The servers are prompt and polite. Definitely a place worth experiencing.

I was a little worried at first when I greeted by the hostess or woman who approached me to take me to a seat since she seemed a little rude but I gave her grace – she may have been having a bad morning. But Abigail my server was amazing she followed up rather quickly offering coffee and to ask if I was ready to order. She was kind, polite and complimented my ear muffs. I was amazing when my food came out in less than 5 minutes fresh and hot! I love first watch but I have never visited this location and thankfully I was not disappointed.

This breakfast was absolutely delicious, ice had breakfast here many times and each time it’s been better and better. I will return and recommend this place to people. Ice visited several locations and the quality never changed. The service is always top tier. This is most definitely a go to for anyone visiting from out of town and they have great healthy options.

First watch is pretty solid. I prefer to go to local diners and cafes. I usually go with an omlette but got the nashville hot chicken hash instead (wasnt a fan). Yeah overall this one was just ok.

Such a great add to downtown Clayton! Heated dog friendly patio is so nice too. My dogs love stopping by. The staff is very welcoming. A fave spot!

Philexis was the server. Pleasant individual. Took order and served as requested. She then disappeared and never once checked on us as it would been nice to have water refilled. We were finished and about 10 minutes after had finished she reappeared and asked if we wanted the checks. Said yes and asked for a small to go box. After more then 10 minutes of more waiting we got up and went into the kitchen and requested a box and were given one. Food was good. Service was poor. Not likely to return as they were less than half full and saw at least three other servers. It was not busy.

A little too busy for my personal preference! Ashley the hostess & server & busser lol…was “stellar at least”. Graceful and professional all with a warm smile. Abbey our server did an excellent job considering “short staffed” Food was hot n ready timely…. Very delicious per usual. It’ was a great choice ! Great job management !!!

Overall, a well-located chain brunch spot that is reasonably priced and has great offerings. I would definitely come again!
WAIT TIME: We had a reservation and came early and they were still able to seat us within five minutes. They also have nice benches to sit at to wait if needed.
FOOD: We shared the French toast and the salmon frittata. Both were tasty! The salmon was interesting in an omelet, and some bites had a little too much fishy taste, but overall I still enjoyed it. They have a large variety of menu items and their seasonal menus are also excellent.
SERVICE: They just opened this location, so servers are still learning. Overall, I have no complaints, you can just tell they’re still getting familiar with it.
AMBIANCE: The space is well decorated and very open and sunny. I love where it’s located and the layout makes sense.
PRICE: The total came out to $35, which is very decent for a brunch for two! This included the two plates and two bottomless coffees.
