The lunch special was one of the best lunches I’ve ever had anywhere! The homemade soup was to die for, so I bought four bowls to take home. My wife said it was the best egg white omelette she’d ever had. Love this place. it’s a little diner, nothing special inside or out… except for the food and service! A hidden gem, I will be back.

Classic American breakfast served by the harder working crew. While they can be short-staffed when it is busy absolutely worth dining here. My blueberry pancakes were delish. Omelette was hearty. The salsaon top was tasty.

Were not pleasant. Had open tables but would not seat all of us. Didn’t explain anything, just kept saying no we can’t, we don’t have room. Lakeview was much better.

As with most of the other reviews, this place is an excellent little place to stop for a bite to eat. Wonderful breakfast early in the morning. Service was fantastic, food was great. Atmosphere / interior decor is a bit on the dated side, but that absolutely adds to the small town charm of this restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Very pleasant mid morning breakfast stop in Cascade. We were immediately greeted and seated by a pleasant young lady who gave nice recommendations and friendly staff. We had French toast, (recommended) Taco salad, and Chicken fried steak plate. No coffee, instead a tasty pitcher of ice water. Plenty of parking in front, side of and across the street. We parked a truck W trailer and our 25′ class C RV within close proximity to the entrance. Ok, to the food. The French toast was a plate of 3 diagonally cut 3/4″pcs rated a 4.8.
The taco salad was 4.5, the tortilla bowl was over fried and the green onions were nearly 1″ pcs, a bit more dice would compliment the otherwise tasty ground beef salad with a nice mix of greens.
My chicken fried steak was to thick (needs more pounding out) and the flavor was just avg. at best. The hash browns, 3 perfectly cooked over easy eggs, white gravy and home made biscuit were excellent. Adding Cholula or other alongside ages old vinegary Tabasco sauce and you rate a 5. We’ll be stopping in next trip through Cascade.

It is an older café, but the atmosphere is very homey & charming. Staff was very friendly & courteous. The food was very tasty & cook ed just right. Will definitely go there again.
