First time at this location, looks like it was recently renovated. Team was friendly and polite and made small talk while we figured out what we wanted (shout out to Elena), food was fresh, great tasting and a good price. Everyone that came in after us was helped quickly and in the downtime the team was visibly cleaning and making sure the restaurant was well stocked. Great experience and will absolutely return.

Ate at this location today (Mentor, OH) and had the best service I’ve had in a long time. The ladies name was Alaina or Elaina. So nice, very attentive and actually treated us like we were customers. Most places act like they are doing you a favor anymore. I listened as she waited on the next few customers and she provided the same level of service. Excellent employee you have!! Food was good too!

Been a fan of Long John Silvers for a while. This restaurant absolutely takes the cake. The food was delicious. You can tell it was cooked as I ordered it and was not sitting for a while. Most importantly the manager Alyssa was incredible. She was very personable and her service was top notch. As I ate my meal, she checked on me more than a standard server at a traditional restaurant would. I will definitely be back and if your looking for a good home cooked meal quickly, this is definitely the spot.

One of the only Long John silver’s left around here. Service was great! The lady taking the order was very kind and friendly. Our food was cooked perfectly and all of our condiments with napkins were in the bag… Which, if you get takeout, sometimes those things are forgotten? I rang the bell on the way out!

Alyssa (dont know if that’s spelled right) was very welcoming and nice. It went from empty to slightly busy while we ate but she and the kitchen staff were right on top of everything. The restaurant was also kept clean and orderly, even the restrooms.

We got the 8 PC fish, 12 piece shrimp, waffle fries, and 8 hush puppies for $33.99* … It was phenomenal! The pieces of fish are huge and so is the shrimp! And the hush puppies … This place blows Arthur Treachers out of the water!!!

Third time in a row from LJS in Mentor Ohio that we get home and they forgot something in our order. I call the store and the line rings and rings. Then I called corporate to complain. It’s all AI and they gave me a code for the extra
piece of fish they forgot.paid $3.19 for the add a piece of fish. Mentor store gave us a hard time redeeming the code. They said it wasn’t in there book. Next time they forgot
my husband’s waffle fries. No action! This time they forgot my coleslaw. Get employees that know how to fill the orders correctly, get rid of your snarky attitudes and answer the damn phone! I either stop buying food from LJS or I check every order before leaving the store! I should not have to do that, but apparently the employees don’t know how to do their jobs!

Our first time in Cleveland, and since Long John Silver’s is a fast food option, I *had* to try it again – it’s been years since I last ate at this chain. The inside of the place is larger than it seems from looking at the exterior. Counterperson Elena was very polite and helpful with ordering. Place was not busy for lunch so we were lucky as more people started to arrive after we ordered. I got the fish sandwich meal (came with a side of fries and a small fountain drink) and my husband got the chicken and fish with onion rings and hushpuppies. Total was about $35 with tip. Drink cup and top is provided to you and you serve yourself your own fountain drink. This location only serves Pepsi products, so I settled for a Starry (rebranded 7Up?) which is the equivalent of the taste of Sprite (lemon-lime soda).
Takeout order was finished in about 15 minutes and was 100% correct. Everything was crispy and cooked well. My husband said his fish was a bit on the oily side, but my fish sandwich was just right. This hit the right spot for my fish n’ chips fix. Parking lot has limited spaces, but had several spots open when we arrived.

Ordered online and then went inside to online pickup spot. Watched as they handed out food. They passed over mine and gave put orders that were taken after mine. I watched as others placed,and received their orders while mine sat. I asked for my order and received but I shouldn’t have had to ask for it. Some people don’t care for online ordering and then then showing up just for the pickup. This is exactly the reason for online ordering. And if the employees don’t like it they should find another job. This is the future. Get used to it.
