In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. I don’t know why more people don’t eat here. I have never been better served from fast food place. They have huge portions and no problem making substitutions to make your just how you want it. Taco Bell use to be my go to fast “Mexican” food. Now I only go to Taco Bell if I’m out late and Taco Bueno is closed.

This Taco Bell clone, it has decent prices for the food. The quality of food is ok, but it is quick for lunch. Service is very good. The folks really work hard at customer service and making sure the order is correct.

Absolutely terrible, everything was very old. Pico and lettuce were rancid. I would rather eat shoe leather than go back and get another taco from this place. Shocked that the place is even open.

I only get to visit Taco Bueno territory once a year, and it met all my anticipation and expectations. Fresh hot muchaco fry bread stuffed with meat, beans, and lettuce, fresh chilled salsa bar. Tried the Chicken Fajita Rollup for the first time, it was delicious. And if course, the trusty Mexi Dip & Chips was more than I could finish! The Cream Cheese Chimi was the perfect way to finish off a great meal. Rich and creamy, not too sweet! Hate that I only get to eat here a few days out of the year.

I stopped by Taco Bueno recently while visiting Conway for lunch, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The staff was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on getting my order just right. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If you went to public school and want to reminis on happier times when you were in elementary school try the Taco Burger. It tastes exactly like the sloppy joe I had in school at the cafeteria. This is not a complaint I think it’s good.

I got what was supposed to be a “Big Freakin Nacho” which is supposed to be bigger, more substantial than the “Mucho Nacho” Well, what I got was neither “big” nor “freakin.” I didn’t see it on the menu and I inquired about this. They said no problem and that they could do it and my receipt reflected the bigger nacho AT the bigger price. When I got the food I asked what was up because it would have been small even for the smaller Mucho Nacho-they said thats just the way it is. The food tasted on point but it was seriously disappointing as a meal when it didn’t even fill me up. Not like it used to…

Food and service is constantly good at this location. The general manager here is engaged with her customers and takes great pride in providing outstanding customer service. The dining room, as well as restrooms are always clean. No matter what I order, I always make sure to add a Taco Burger to go along with it. Tamales with chili sauce are a seasonal addition to the menu at this location. They are definitely worth trying. Whoever the owner is of this franchise… you have an awesome team running this restaurant. I don’t know the general manager’s name, but she is the reason my wife and I keep coming back for more. This Taco Bueno may not have the highest sales or traffic in the country, but I would be willing to bet that no other Taco Bueno has better food or service than the one here in Conway, Arkansas. Keep up the good work!
