Rustic, old-school seasonal seafood shack with lobster rolls, crab cakes & chowder, plus a patio.

Ate lunch here today. Welcomed warmly by Ani, a very bubbly waitress. Ordered the lobster and a fried haddock sandwich with an IPA beer and a rum cocktail. Food was prepared quickly. This is not your fine dining restaurant. Rather it is very casual dining on picnic-like tables. But don’t let the coziness and ambiance detract you. The food is quite tasty. The bar has limited cocktails and beers. My rum punch was very good. It is clean. I had their bread pudding with rum sauce: spectacular! I felt it was slightly overpriced.

Fisherman’s Catch is everything you’d hope for in a small-town coastal seafood restaurant — and then some. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service that made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d picture in a classic Maine seafood spot: casual, welcoming, and filled with the mouthwatering scent of fresh seafood. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the portions were absolutely incredible — generous, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tasted fresh and delicious, the kind of meal that makes you want to come back again before you’ve even left.
And don’t skip dessert. Seriously. It was the perfect sweet finish to an already outstanding meal. Located in a town with deep fishing roots, Fisherman’s Catch captures the heart of coastal Maine — simple, authentic, and full of charm. This place easily earns all five stars and a spot on our must-visit list whenever we’re in the area.

I LOVE SEAFOOD ! First time here and we sat in the trolley car and live music started! Nice mix, Calamari, Lobster Roll, steamers, Fish n chips, burgers and dogs for the kids .
Great staff which can be a challenge for a lot of vacation restaurants. View and a nice breeze while seated in the Trolley.

Friendly servers and updated dining spaces and restrooms with a traditional Maine menu. The lobster rolls were smaller than expected and they were out of the day’s soup and wouldn’t bake or grille the fish (only fried.) The blueberry lemonade and bread pudding were amazing, and the views of the marsh are spectacular. Prices are pricey but expected.

A must visit. Yes, there will most likely be a wait, but the good news is that there’s a bar you can order from …So, grab a drink and an appetizer while you wait so you don’t get hangry! Lobster tacos were phenomenal, and so were the truffle waffle fries and the truffle lobster roll oh, and that blueberry vodka lemonade hit the spot. You’re welcome! There was live music, and our server was delightful.

Cutest spot in Wells and incredible food. There was live music on the Saturday we went, and it was lovely. I love the vibes of this place and the food was amazing. This place is a must when visiting Wells!

Get there at around 7:50pm, they still took my to-go order.
Have ordered lobster dinner and a corn.
The lobster tastes really good, even without any source. It’s really juicy and fresh.
The price is also reasonable.
They also gives buzz pager to customers so that we could get notified when the food is ready. It is really convenient.
Plenty of parking outside of restaurant(avoid peak hours).

Watch the bread!
We dined here about a year ago and were very pleased, the prices were fair, especially given the quality and portion sizes. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to that experience. While the meal started out well, it was marred by moldy rolls on the Captain’s platter. The restaurant’s response was to comp a cup of chowder, an inadequate gesture, considering the potential seriousness of the issue.
A note to the management: when there’s a clear lapse in food safety, it shouldn’t fall on the customer to bear the consequences or haggle over appropriate compensation. At the very least, the entrée should have been comped.
Thankfully, I didn’t have a reaction after eating the moldy bread, but my dining companion wasn’t so lucky as she experienced discomfort within the hour. As she put it: remove the heart from their restaurant.

Absolutely amazing food, freshly done. I needed to queue, on a weekday, for lunch. This speaks volumes on how good this place is, parking was full on a weekday!

We had a great experience stopping by the fisherman’s catch for an afternoon lunch. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the lobster tacos. We also had the seafood chowder, which was great with just a hint of spice. The atmosphere and the food was great, and the service was prompt and friendly. Prices were average but acceptable. Restaurant sits off the road in a quiet area and was very relaxing. We would definitely come back to this restaurant.
