This place was honestly surprising in a good way! We own a lake house here and Air B n B it and are always looking for places to recommend to our guests. We had great fresh food, perfect sweet tea and nice staff. Reasonable pricing too. We will definitely be back when we visit and recommend to our guests. To get good service and fresh food on a holiday weekend is unheard of.

Little did we know, this gem is open year round Thursday through Sunday! We finally decided to check it out, and wow!! After reading a Facebook post about how good their food is, we have to agree! The atmosphere is separated between a diner style eat-in and a bar with great lighting, which opens to a small patio. The staff were all incredibly friendly. Brianna, our server, did an amazing job recommending drinks and popular meals.
For drinks, we had the spicy bloody Mary and a captain Morgan and 7 up. Tried the boneless wings as an appetizer with the wild sauce (medium heat, very good!). They also serve Bee’s Knees Brewing Company and Piney River Brewing Company beers… YES!!
For dinner, we had a burger (cooked to perfection!) with smoked gouda cheese, the handcut fries (amazing!), and the Mahi Mahi fish tacos, blackened with a side house salad.
I’m a huge critic of fish tacos, and I have to say that these were the most flavorful, un-fried fish tacos that I’ve had, not just at Lake Ozarks, but anywhere near the lake!
Huge kudos to the kitchen staff for such an amazing meal!! Definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area! This isn’t your average “bar food”… these people know what they’re doing!!

We have visited R-Bar on many occasions. It was a go to restaurant in Warsaw when ran by the couple who built the business. He made it known to each of his customers that he appreciated them. He made rounds regularly to make sure he checked in with customers during their visit and conversated, making them feel valued and at home in his restaurant.
From.our experiences, the business seems to have taken a turn with new the ownership. The food is inconsistent. It’s hit or miss if the burgers are undercooked (almost raw at times) or crunchy black when ordered medium well, its hit or miss if the salads are served with brown wilted lettuce and missing ingredients, the servers rarely check back with you, the beverage machines are down at times, something is regularly missing in to go orders, servers seem bothered to take an order by phone and on our last visit the current owners were drinking shots and beer sitting at the bar during a sports game while customers stood. One of the owners reached over the bar several times exposing his backside to customers because his pants were low. Lastly, the owners were counting large sums of cash directly in front of customers. – We wont be returning.

Wanted to try something different. Ordered grill chicken breast with teriyaki sauce, french fries, corn. Corn comes out of a can, french fries were like shoe strings, limpy, salty,soft, chicken tasted like they just poured teriyaki sauce over the top and put pineapple ring on it. Husband had prime rib no taste cut thin. 2 meals and piece of pie $57.00. Staff was friendly, took a while to get food.

This was our first time here, and I need to try again. The pork loin sandwich I ordered was way too big to eat and it didn’t have much flavor. My son had thd chicken tenders. He said they were good.

My wife and I took a weekend trip to the area and stopped here to grab a bite to eat. The food was amazing! The pricing was not bad either especially considering there was seafood on the menu! Staff was great and service was awesome! I’d definitely go back if in the area again!

It took over 10 minutes for the server to come take our drink orders. The fountain drinks tasted off. The server didn’t bring us waters like we asked. There were six of us and we only received three plates for our appetizer. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and it was just plain, bland, and room temp. So were my fries. I ate about a quarter of the food. My server asked to take my plate, which I obliged, but didn’t ask how it was or if there was something wrong with it since I didn’t eat much of it. My wife’s fish was dry. My kids didn’t eat much of their fries and chicken strips, which says something about the quality of food because they always eat those anywhere we go.
