Golden Chick in La Vernia is always a hit with my family! Their chicken is consistently spot-on — hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly every time. The flavor and quality never disappoint, and it’s become one of our go-to spots for a quick and delicious meal. My kids especially love it, and it’s one of the few places we can all agree on without hesitation. The location is super convenient, right near AutoZone and across the street from H-E-B, which makes it easy to stop in. Friendly service, great food, and a family favorite — highly recommend!

Fantastic. The roasted chicken was outstanding, as was the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The rolls were warm and so soft. Very happy with our meal here. The restaurant was very very clean and the staff super kind and professional. I will be going back again and again. Oh and the brownies we got on our way out supper soft and yummy. Go treat yourself to some Golden Chick.

went last night ( Mar 7th) cuz i haven’t been to this one in a while and i’m not gonna lie i was heavily disappointed and disgusted. it’s gone way downhill. there was a blonde hair in my chicken, the chicken sandwich was soggy and mushy, the mac n cheese tasted like soap somehow, and there was a freakin silverfish inside the tied to go bag. pretty nasty. Tried to call the restaurant but it went to voicemail after ringing several times, hence the bad review.

Food was super hot and fresh. My husband and I did the Lucky 13 deal and it was such a good price for the amount of food. We will definitely have leftovers which we love. We got the sides as well. Fries and chicken were hot and crispy, rolls were soft and buttery, mac and cheese was great. David and the staff were wonderful too, super polite and made sure we had everything we needed. If you dine in you get free ice cream too! We ate outside and the tables were big and clean.

We walked in and were greeted by the nicest gentleman! The food has always been good and my kiddo loves getting the free ice cream cone! Never had any problems with them forgetting anything on our order. Glad to have them as an option!
