Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was delicious. It melted in my mouth. The crab legs were also great. You can never go wrong with garlic mashed potatoes on the side. That’s always a favorite of mine. They were creamy and yummy.

Come eat here! You will love it as much as we do! The atmosphere is very friendly, as you would expect from Montana. The beef is very high quality, cooked perfectly over an open fire! I love their old fashioned cocktails with Knob Creek.

We try to come every time we are in town. There are other steak houses (we have tried them all), but they dont compare!

Lolo Creek Steak House is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Montana. From the moment you walk in, the warm rustic setting immediately makes you feel at home. The log cabin style, open grill, and the smell of perfectly cooked steaks create an atmosphere that is both cozy and authentic.

I ordered the porterhouse, and it was simply outstanding. Cooked exactly to my liking, the steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor in every bite. The char from the grill added the perfect smoky finish that really set it apart from other steakhouses. It’s clear they use high-quality cuts, and the attention to detail in preparation shines through.

The sides were also impressive, hearty portions and packed with flavor, complementing the steak without overshadowing it. The service was top-notch, with staff who were friendly, attentive, and quick to make recommendations that hit the mark.

What really stood out was the combination of atmosphere, food quality, and service all coming together. It felt less like a restaurant visit and more like an experience you’ll remember. If you’re in the area, Lolo Creek Steak House is an absolute must.

Nice Montana lodge atmosphere. Reasonable prices and fair portions. Waited in Pavillion for 30 minutes and had appetizers, waitress has major attitude problems. In addition, the waitress said they were out of cheesecake but the table next to us ordered one. Main waitress was ok. King crab was ok. I rather have 1 colossal sized legs than 4 smaller ones. Lobster was good. Shrimp was average. Girlfriends well done streak tasted like charcoal and rubber (minus 2 stars for that and the rude waitress)

The location is beautiful. It was free parking. However, after waiting for 45 minutes, we were not called. So we went back inside, and they finally seated us. The wait was truly worthwhile! The steak was cooked precisely to my preference, medium-rare. Even their simple salad was delicious. I am unable to comprehend the reason behind this. Lol. I would definitely recommend it.

10/10 food and experience at Lolo Creek Steakhouse! Every dish was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The steaks were tender, juicy, and seasoned just right, and the sides were just as impressive—fresh, hearty, and delicious.

You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Portions were generous, the presentation was great, and everything came out hot and exactly how we ordered it. This is hands-down one of the best meals we’ve had.

If you’re looking for incredible food, great atmosphere, and a place that consistently delivers, Lolo Creek Steakhouse does not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Lolo Creek is the place if you’re looking for great steak and an authentic rancher vibe. This family-owned restaurant knows how to offer diners hospitality. Enjoy the huckleberry cocktails. My steak was cooked to perfection and came with all the fixings. The clam appetizer was simple and delicious.

First time here to celebrate a life event and the atmosphere was wonderful! The steakhouse has a Western decor theme on the inside and an overall homey feeling. It makes you feel like you are sitting in someone’s kitchen. Food and service was fantastic. My filet was cooked to perfection and paired well with my Old Fashion. Will definitely be back.

Before even walking in the door I should have known. Rules seem to be of more importance to post than actually following. They broke one of their rules at least three times from what I observed. To flip over the menu and see the history of the place with no mention of the original owner and how it was built was sad to see. To see the additional building not built in the way the original existing restaurant was a disrespect to the original owers. Log siding?? Really? At least close the gaps so you can’t see the building wrap. Prices on menu vs prices online are different and there is no exuse as to why a place that charges these prices can’t keep there website up to date. Where to start with our meal. We received our relish tray way beyond appropriate timing as others that were seated after us had already gotten. Salad was wilty and did not taste fresh. Our table ordered three steaks, all were ordered medium and all three were cooked more on the well done side. I personally ordered the 20oz ribeye and received the 12oz but was still charged for the 20oz. I was told the chef on the grill was new. That must explain why our steaks were not cooked as requested. Steaks themselves were not what I remember from the past. Crab legs were rubbery with zero taste. No warm wet towel for clean up with the crab legs. The dessert we ordered was the mud pie to split and came so frozen it was nearly impossible to get through even with a steak knife. I believe our nearly $200 meal was not worth our time and money. There is no way I could recommend this place to anyone. Honestly would have never came if we knew it had gone downhill so much. If I could have given a lesser rating I would have.
