I enjoy the bargain drinks at Sonic, however this location seems to always have our order incorrectly. The location is convenient traveling into and out of Gallup. The location is clean and the employees are nice. We tend to drive-thru or order ahead for convenience and the while we waited, a waiter went around and offered extras condiments if needed.

I pulled into a bay to place an order because the drive through was non-functional. I pressed the red button and waited 15-20 minutes with no response. I pulled around to the mobile pick up bay, downloaded the app and placed my order. The app listed a pickup time within 5 minutes. I waited 15 minutes after my scheduled pick up time then called the store. The manager on duty January 19 2026 at 6:30 pm had the nastiest attitude for no reason. She hung up in my face without providing me with a status on my order. I knocked on the door at the store and an employee went to get the manger whose voice I recognized from the phone call. Before I could even speak, she was flapping her arms, rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing. She said “You didn’t even check in!”. I tried to show her where I had checked in and she walked off before even looking at my phone to confirm. I understand being stressed when the restaurant is busy but I gave her no reason to be nasty towards me. I asked for a refund and she waved me off and told me to use the automated system. Thankfully an employee came out with my order looking confused about a minute later. The employee looked frustrated and frazzled for what I’m assuming is because he is working under a person who doesn’t know how to regulate her emotions like a proper adult. I feel sorry for those employees and I would never stop there again.

I was hoping to have a nice yummy burger with chili cheese fries but food has changed here. Only thing that tasted normal was the cherry limeade. Everything else didn’t taste good at all. Not going thr again.

Don’t waste your money here! If I could leave ZERO stars i would. The corn dogs and pretzels used to be big. Almost $3 for ONE (1) corn dog and it’s the size of a quarter in diameter! Not worth it. The pretzel i bought was burnt so that made it shriveled and hard to bite. Never gonna come here again. Inflation turned this place to crap, you can imagine what the other menu items will turn out to be if the freaking corn dogs/pretzels are so TINY.

An order of fries wasn’t added and and onion rings were burnt. They told me they couldn’t give me another order of fries and they took the onion rings to make sure I wasn’t lying (I guess). Second onion rings, burnt again! Service sucked and people had been driving off due to long wait.

Not so good on leaving reviews BUT i been hearing about this mangonada strawberry drink. Went to the east side gallup Sonic and honestly, it was more like juice with a few slush in it and no tajin. Went to the North side Sonic, asked if they could do a remake. At first the lady was like i can’t because there’s no receipt. And notmally i don’t get a receipt for drinks. So im like darn ok, I’ll just live with this drink haha ready to drive off and the lady (dont know if she’s a manager) but she said let me just remake it. Sorry you had that experience. Very awesome and this drink was made much much better!! Thanks northside Sonic. Nizhoni!
