I’ve noticed that customer service at many restaurants just isn’t what it used to be, servers often seem disengaged or indifferent. However, at Outback Steak House in Allen Texas, our server, Caren, completely changed that perception and restored my faith that great hospitality still exists.
Caren was outstanding: knowledgeable, attentive, with a great attitude and an impressive attention to detail—something you rarely see nowadays. Her service alone made the visit memorable.
We started with the spinach dip, which arrived sizzling hot and full of flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the teriyaki skewer with rice and asparagus. The skewer was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the rice was light and fluffy. The asparagus was fresh but could have used a bit more seasoning. We finished with the carrot cake, which was moist, well-balanced, and not overly sweet.
Overall, the food was good and Caren’s exceptional hospitality truly stood out and made our experience enjoyable. She is absolutely an asset to this location.

We like dining at Outback. This location is the only one close to where we are willing to drive to eat at. The staff is also friendly and we never have to wait to be seated. The food was okay. I ordered the Delmonico steak it’s new to the menu. To my surprise this steak was not that tasty. I ordered it medium. It lacked flavor and was a bit tough. Other than the steak everything else we ordered was delicious.

My spouse and I visited the Outback Steakhouse in Allen on Saturday night, December 6th, 2025, and were genuinely impressed with the entire experience.
We spent most of our time with our server, Kylar, whose warm personality, attentiveness, and professionalism made our anniversary dinner feel truly special. We also appreciated the hostess, who welcomed us with a smile and set the tone for a smooth start to our evening. The manager stopped by as well – we didn’t catch his name, but he offered a warm congratulations that added a thoughtful touch.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, especially impressive for a busy Saturday night. The atmosphere was inviting, and our meals came out fresh and perfectly prepared.

Good location we have came here often but the dining experience has been consistently ruined by a Manager a Hispanic male who repeatedly comes over and sits at our table for extended periods of time preventing us from enjoying our food. What should be a relaxing meal for us turns into an uncomfortable and awkward situation we try to be nice about it but it’s excessive. This has happened multiple times and it’s reached a point where we avoid coming in when this manager is working. Guest should be able to enjoy their meals without feeling interrupted or pressured into conversation. Good location but we won’t be back very unprofessional and disappointing.

I took my mom out to dinner at the Allen location and we had a wonderful time. The staff was super warm and friendly. Our server Brent was awesome and very attentive. The food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. We will most definitely return. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

I had an excellent experience at this steakhouse, and a big part of that was thanks to Aiden. He was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations and checked in at just the right times without being overbearing. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great experience.
What really stood out was when the owner, Ryan House, stopped by our table to see how everything was going. It says a lot about a place when the owner is that hands-on and attentive. The food was cooked perfectly, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere felt welcoming from start to finish. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others.

I recently ordered takeout from Outback Steakhouse, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. My order was prepared quickly, packaged neatly, and everything was still hot and fresh by the time I got home. You can tell the team takes real care with their to go orders — nothing was missing, the portions were generous, and the quality was just as good as dining in.

I’ve been meaning to write this for quite some time. We had a few great experiences at Outback Steakhouse in the last four months. Not only were we blown away by the consistency of the menu, but also the quality of the service, and the incredible attitude of their staff (& management)!
Outback has always represented great value, in my mind. When you go there, you should not expect a steak like you might get at Bob’s Chophouse. However, their quality has been consistently good ever since the first time I went to Outback when I was 18 years old back in the 90s. Yes that means I’m old… But it also means that I’ve been to Outback Steakhouses in several states and the consistency is always there. From their blooming onion, to their Alice Springs chicken, to their wings, it’s consistently good wherever you experience it.
But at this specific location in Allen, TX, we had that consistency we love and a 1990s experience from our server.
I don’t know how their training is done, but the last three times we’ve gone there our waiter or waitress has been awesome. Not only have they been positive and attentive, but on every visit we’ve been visited by a manager with an incredibly friendly attitude and a smile on their face. The employees and management seemed like they like to work there, and they enjoy having customers in, believe it or not. In today’s times, this makes all the difference to me.
I’ve been out to eat more times than I can count since 2020 where I feel like I am a burden to the server, to the restaurant and to the management. Then I get an astonishingly high bill to go along with my plate of utter disappointment. It’s sad. But not at this Outback. They entire staff makes you feel welcomed and the staff has a great attitude.
I now know, that it comes from their management. Of the 3 visits we had, the same manager came over twice and asked us how things were. She was positive, pleasant and smiled as though she was pleased we came in. On the 3rd visit, a different manager came by and was the same (although not as bubbly as the other manager because that might be impossible).
I love to feel like people appreciate their job and value good clients.

Today was soooo beautiful. The steak was mouth watering delicious. The cheesecake was very good. And that Mac and cheese was beyond good. The Assistant Manager Chris came over to my table and wished me a Happy Valentine’s Day which I thought was very sweet. The staff and waitress were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend you go and enjoy a steak. I got mine medium well and it didn’t disappoint. The lobster was very tender.
