2.5 stars – a mediocre dining experience overall. The flavors were bland, especially for dishes billed as “authentic” Mexican. The tableside salsa was watery and completely lacked any zip or heat. Portion sizes were on the smaller side, which would be fine if the taste made up for it – but it didn’t, which is a shame since the dishes looked much better than they tasted.
Still waiting to find a decent Mexican spot here in Panama City Beach. We’ll keep trying!

Our first visit. We really enjoyed our meals. My ground beef taco was excellent, the chilli relleno was a tad dry by had great flavour. The service was great! We will definitely be back. We would like to have sopapillas!

Tonight we had dinner and as always we were not disappointed. The beef burrito was excellent, the steak fajita was tasty with great flavor. From the time we were greeted, to our great host Esteban we had courteous and attentive service. We are grateful for this local restaurant. Thank you Lucy, for being open today, we came over yesterday when it was closed! Always recommend Autentika to family and friends. One of our favorite places to go. Love the margaritas too.

What a great find this place was. My wife had the quesadilla and I had loaded nachos and both were delicious!!
Like many restaurants of this type you get nachos and salsa… I couldn’t help it and got the queso dip with chorizo… holy crap!! This stuff is awesome!!
We were both chowing down like little piggies.
I guarantee the tourist chain places don’t make their own sour cream and their salsa is out of a can… not here!!
Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

Great food,(shredded chicken nachos), and lime topshelf margaritas were delicious. The servers and bartenders were super friendly, helpful and sweet. Very reasonable pricing.

We ate there this past weekend and we were very pleasantly surprised. We walked in towards the end of the night and service was still amazing. Food was even better. I am a sucker for authentic food of any sort, and the fact that everything was made fresh to order down to the warm tortilla chips. We will absolutely be back. The food was delicious. Service was great atmosphere 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend.

We love trying local Mexican establishments and the reviews here drew us to this location. My husband and I made the walk from Embassy Suites (35 minute walk) to enjoy a margarita and some fare.
The Margaritas were good, I wouldn’t say the best I’d ever had, but they were prepared to order which I loved. The chips and salsa were fantastic. A couple locals were dining beside us and suggested we try the smoked poblano salsa. Ummmm I’m so glad they did! It was fire! So good. I think I could have just eat it with a spoon.
We enjoyed a grouper taco, beef taco and a Sopas (I’d never had one of these, so trying something new). I’d give this spot a 9/10. Staff was great too!

Ain’t no way this is authentic! This looks like Taco Bell……. taste like chicken you buy out of the deli packets. The waiter didn’t even check around for refills, but once when she brought the food. Didn’t even bring out the correct food & argued that we asked for something that we did not. Have the audacity to charge a 20% fee for a tip that isn’t deserving at all. Do not recommend to travelers!

What do you mean availability? When we got there, we were the only people there. You offered to make a new a new dish…. I declined due to the fact NOBODY but one ate their food and that was only bc we just drove 8 hours and was starving. We paid almost $140 to not eat and I still had to pay that elsewhere for my children to eat. Lack of accountability and customer service.
